Let’s wish each other a Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day! Fropper Team wishes all you Fropperites another great year of being free. Along with freedom do not forget the duties of being an Indian! Be a good citizen and do the right thing. Say no to corruption. Say no to oppression. Say no to communalism! Fight injustice. Live in Peace. Make India a better place to live in!

Independence celebrations, contests and prizes on Fropper!

Happy Independence Day! Sixty one years of freedom is definitely a reason to celebrate. While we salute our heroes who gave us our Independence, let’s also look at the future leaders who can make India shine. So we have contests that not only tell us what you think but let you win goodies too!

ezBlog Contest:
The Raj has long past gone, but are we really independent? We have some serious problems be it terrorism, poverty, overpopulation, corruption and many more! So what do you think India needs freedom from the most? How can we deal with the problem? Write an ezBlog post and tell us.

1st prize: A table clock-cum-pen stand and Fropper mug.
2nd prize: A cool ethnic bag and Fropper mug.

Great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey won us our freedom! Who from the current young leaders do you think can take India forward? Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Milind Deora, Sachin Pilot… the list is long. So upload photos of who you think can be the perfect leader and write in the description what makes them special:

1st prize: An organizer and Fropper mug.

Happy Friendship Day!

The big day is here again! Time to celebrate the most beautiful bond – friendship. So, here’s wishing you a very beautiful Friendship Day, which falls on August 3rd! In fact, we must wish you Friendship Week because didn’t wanna stop after just a day. So go ahead and have a big party and do tell all your friends how much you care for them.

When celebrating friendship, make it large! And that's what we are doing this Friendship Day. Even though the big day is on August 3rd, we celebrating for a week (from July 31st to August 5th). You write: An ezBlog post about your best friend on Fropper. Let's say a like a short essay. Here's what you can write about:

Subscribe to an ezBlog post and track comments!

How does one find like-minded people? By getting to know their opinions.

And how do you know others’ opinions on Fropper? By reading their comments.

So, after launching the feature of tracking comments made on photos, we’re doing the same with ezBlogs too.

You can now track comments on not only your own but also other members’ ezBlog posts. While you are auto-subscribed for receiving alerts of new comments placed on your own ezBlog post, you can also subscribe to other members’ posts and every time a new comment is posted, you will be informed about it. These alerts will be sent to your Fropper inbox.

You can also interact with a member from comments section. You’ll have the chat, scrap and message options below every member’s photo. Of course, privacy settings are applicable here.

And whenever you wish to stop receiving alerts of the comments being posted, you can unsubscribe by going to the comments section.

Alternatively, go to the Subscription page and unsubscribe and we will stop sending you alerts.

Sharing multiple photos is simple and fast!

Now that you know how easy and quick it is to manage multiple photos because of Photo Bucket, let us tell you one more thing about it. Sharing all those multiple photos is just as simple and fast!

Collect your photos in Photo Bucket, and click the ‘Share Photos’ link, select the
friends you want to share the photos with and hit the share button!

The good part is that you can select your friends and members not only from Fropper but also your other e mail accounts!

Think we already told you that it’s very simple and very quick. And it’s also free, of
course!
So, now add your photos to Photo Bucket and share them all with your friends!

Latest Updates on dashboard

Wanna keep an eye on your friends without visiting their Zone? You just got lucky ;)

The ‘Latest Updates’ section on your dashboard lets you keep track of recent activities of your friends in Photos, Videos, Groups, Music, ezBlogs etc. Even the dashboard has a new fresher look.

And oh yes – as usual we have taken care of privacy and spam. So guys, you don’t really need to panic.

You can decide which of your activities should be visible to your friends in their updates section.

You can choose the updates you want to receive on your updates section.

So dive in to check out the updates & let us know what you think.

Subscribe to photos and track comments received!

You know you could find like-minded people to interact with by reading their comments?

Say there is a photo uploaded; someone would comment on it and he may have the same opinion as you. But, then you can’t always go back to the photo again and again to check who commented.

So, we are making it easier for you. You can now Subscribe to any photo you like, and every time a new comment is
posted on that particular photo, you get an alert in your
Fropper inbox.

You will find the option for subscribing below the photo.
All you have to do is click on ‘Subscribe’ and you will start
receiving alerts for comments received.

If you wish to stop receiving alerts for new comments, you can Unsubscribe any time you want.

Along with comments on other members’ photos, you will
also receive alerts for new comments on photos uploaded
by you.

Photo Batch Uploader:Upload more than 5 photos at a time!!

We gave you a high five in uploading photos, right?
Now we are increasing the number. Here is the new Photo Batch Uploader that will let you upload multiple photos at the same time. And this more would mean less hassle & less time spent on uploading photos.

With the Photo Batch Uploader, you just have drop all photos in a single place & then upload them.

Once that is done, you can put them in a single set; give them common tags, set
privacy settings for all the photos uploaded right away.

For example, you have multiple photos of a party, all you have to do is upload them,
give them common tags, create a set ‘Fropper Music Party’ & make the photos private or public there and then!

Then you also have the option of uploading another batch of photos if you want to!
And, yeah, do not forget to share them with your friends.

So, here it is… start uploading photos without spending much time doing it!
