Christ Died For All Sinners !
Should His death be a waste? Do we not have a right to ask ourselves, " Why was an innocent person, Jesus Christ, put to death? " Since the Bible claims to answer all the questions concerning Jesus, what does it have to tell about the reasons for His death on the Cross of Calvary. One of the books of the Bible by the name of Romans, in 5:8 says, " But God commendeth His love towards us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." And that, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned;
For until the law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's trangression, who is the figure of Him that was to come, i.e Jesus Christ. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one (Adam) many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one , Jesus Christ.
So Christ died for all of us who have sinned and "ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD."(Romans 3:23) and "The wages of sin is death but the gift of God in Christ Jesus is eternal life."(Rom 6:23)
"FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE."
(JOHN 3:16)
