KRISHNA AND CHRIST
Please Note: This Blog Has Not been Written By Me But Purely Copy/Paste My Thanks To Subhamoy Das of Hinduism.about.com.
Photos Are Not Mine Either As Far As I Know That This Photos Do Not Infringe Any Copyright.
It's Christmas week - a good time to reflect on the similarities between Christianity and Hinduism - the most prominent being the like lives of Jesus Christ and Lord Krishna. Although there is little historical evidence, it is hard to ignore a host of likenesses between Christ and Krishna. Analyze this!
1. Both are believed to be sons of God, since they were divinely conceived
2. The birth of both Jesus of Nazareth and Krishna of Dwarka and their God-designed missions were foretold
3. Both were born at unusual places -- Christ in a lowly manger and Krishna in a prison cell
4. Both were divinely saved from death pronouncements
5. Evil forces pursued both Christ and Krishna in vain
6. Christ is often depicted as a shepherd; Krishna was a cowherd
7. Both appeared at a critical time when their respective countries were in a torpid state
8. Both died of wounds caused by sharp weapons -- Christ by nails and Krishna by an arrow
9. The teachings of both are very similar -- both emphasize love and peace
10. Krishna was often shown as having a dark blue complexion -- a color close to that of Christ
What do you think?
There's a big debate going on about the Christ-Krishna connection. Please Post Your Comments On Your Personal Thoughts.
There Is A Recent Theory that Jesus lived and died in India and studied Hinduism and Buddhism
I Should Be Very Grateful To Any Fropper Friends If They Have Time To Write A Blog About This Theory If They have Any Information Or Other Theories.

London to 'lose out' to Shanghai
Photo Used In This Blog Courtesy of BBC News UK
My Thanks To The Newsroom
.
With References To Recent Post By 'sriangood' (gold price reduction by 50%)
Below Is The Latest From BBC Financial News per 14th December 2009
London could be pushed into third place as a global financial centre by Shanghai in the next decade, according to a report.
The survey, carried out by law firm Eversheds, suggests business leaders think the West is facing accelerated competition from the East.
More than 90% of bosses in Shanghai and
Mumbai
are
confident in their economic outlook for 2010
.
This compares with 22% of business leaders in London and 35% in New York.
Across the United Arab Emirates, 69% said they were confident of their economic prospects over the coming year.
In Evershed's Boom or Gloom report, New York will still be seen as the most significant financial centre with London and Shanghai vying for second place.
A total of 600 senior executives across London,
Mumbai
, New York, Shanghai and the UAE were canvassed for the survey.
Commenting on the findings, Alan Jenkins, chairman of Eversheds thinks companies across the world are reacting to and recovering from the global financial crisis at varying rates.
"More established economic centres are still digesting the extent of the crisis. Confidence levels in the East are in stark contrast to the traditional economic powerhouses, (The USA & UK)" he said.
Reading The Above Shows How The Trends Are Reversing In The Current Economic Climate.

BIT ABOUT SCOTLAND (ACTUALLY BIT OF INFO FOR SINGLE LADIES)
30th of November This Monday is St Andrews Day, celebrated in Scotland. Currently Campaign Going For It to be a National Holiday, Since We have Our Own Scottish Parliament. Anyway forget about Politics. No Going Through on detailed History Except the Following:
Interest To The Single Ladies:
St Andrew – Folklore
Around midnight on November 29, it was traditional for girls to pray to St Andrew for a husband. They would make a wish and look for a sign that they had been heard.
A girl wishing to marry could:
* Throw a shoe at a door. If the toe of the shoe pointed in the direction of the exit, then she would marry and leave her parents’ house within a year.
* Peel a whole apple without breaking the peel and throw the peel over the shoulder. If the peel formed a letter of the alphabet, then this suggested the name of her future groom.
German folklore advises single women who wish to marry to ask for St Andrew’s help. The night before the 30th, if they sleep naked, they will see their future husbands in their dreams. Young women should also note the location of barking dogs on St Andrew’s Eve, as their future husbands will come from that direction.
St Andrew is also expected to look after gout, singers, sore throats, stiff necks, unmarried women, women who wish to become mothers, fish dealers, fishmongers, fishermen, old maids – and more
Well Folks Bit Of A Scottish Tradition
HAPPY ST ANDREWS DAY TO ALL SCOT'S & NON-SCOTS
GOOD LUCK GIRLS.
PS: One Of The Oldest Golf Course In The World is called ST ANDREWS!!

Ad-Sense A Con or A Real Money Maker?
With Recent Advent and Popularity of Ever Growing Number of Social-Sites on the Internet and the Current World Economic Recession, lots of People are Signing-Up For this. For People Who are Not aware of this: Ad-sense is an advertising agency of the Internet tied with Google Company, where People who write Blogs (Posts) on the Internet Social Sites like this one 'fropper' or Create a 'Zone' (Profile) - This Company would Put advertising for other companies, in anticipation that whoever is visiting that blog or zone would click on the 'pop-up' ad. The Advantages to the Firms advertising is that they do not Pay up-Front Fees as they would do in the normal circumstances eg: Newspaper/TV/Cinemas or to The Internet Service Providers, but only when the Visitor to that Blog or Zone Clicks on the 'AD'
My Question is? - Are People Who Sign-Up to The Ad-Sense Get The True Value of the Money for Each Click? & How Do they Know the real number of People who have clicked on that advertisement.
And Does The Quality of Writing deteriorate as People Keep on Writing as many Blogs without any real subject sense to Earn More Money?. And People Keep On Adding More 'friends' to the List for the Sake of other People Visiting their Zones without the real 'Social' purpose of actually making proper friends?
On Fropper It is Very Easy To Spot the Zones or Blogs which have signed to the Ad-sense where the Advertisement is different from the Normal Fropper-Contracted Advertisers which Appear on the Fropper Logging Opening Page. Normal Contracted currently are 'city-bank', fropper relations, astro. Good One of The Ad-sense on Zones was the 'Nokia' mobile Phone and on the Blog Ad-sense advertisement appear as 'google sponsored'
Some Facts on Internet Advertising If A Company who wanted to advertise on a Social or any other Web-Site would have to Pay from £5000 upwards & Web site earns fixed amount of average £100 per click and individual web sites monitor the number of clicks - Wheras Ordinary People Who Sign-up with Ad-sense do not have any way of monitoring but check with the Ad-sense Site who can give them any number & Ordinary People Do Not Get Up-front Fees.
What Do People Reading This Think & Anyone Who has Signed-Up to the Ad-sense Have You Really Had Any or big amounts? & Have You Been Given The True Figure (100 People could have clicked on that advert but ad-sense could turn around say only had about 5 clicks that month??)
I Personally Detest Any Un-Invited Advertising In Any Form - Luckily I have A Very Good Software Knowledge Of My Computer and have set-it Up virtually advertisement free from any site, that includes the Email Pages as Well. And I Also Think it Takes The Purpose Away As A so called 'social-site'
What's Your Opinion of Ad-Sense?

Triskaidekaphobia - Myth or All In Mind?
Today is Friday 13th November 2009. Below is some information about Friday the 13th - WHAT DO GOOD FOLKS OF FROPPER THINK IN THIS 21ST CENTURY - FRIDAY THE 13TH ALL IN THE MIND OR REAL. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO STAY AT HOME & NOT VENTURE OUT?
Triskaidekaphobia (from Greek tris meaning "3," kai meaning "and," and deka meaning "10") is fear of the number 13; it is a superstition and related to a specific fear of Friday the 13th, called paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia.
LEGEND HAS IT: If 13 people sit down to dinner together, one will die within the year. The Turks so disliked the number 13 that it was practically expunged from their vocabulary (Brewer, 1894). Many cities do not have a 13th Street or a 13th Avenue. Many buildings don't have a 13th floor. If you have 13 letters in your name, you will have the devil's luck (Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Theodore Bundy and Albert De Salvo all have 13 letters in their names). There are 13 witches in a coven.
The fears surrounding the number 13 are as ancient as the act of counting. Primitive man had only his 10 fingers and two feet to represent units, this explanation goes, so he could count no higher than 12. What lay beyond that — 13 — was an impenetrable mystery to our prehistoric forebears, hence an object of superstition.
To the ancient Egyptians; Life was a quest for spiritual ascension which unfolded in stages — twelve in this life and a thirteenth beyond, thought to be the eternal afterlife. The number 13 therefore symbolized death, not in terms of dust and decay but as a glorious and desirable transformation. Though Egyptian civilization perished, the symbolism conferred on the number 13 by its priesthood survived, we may speculate, only to be corrupted by subsequent cultures who came to associate 13 with a fear of death instead of a reverence for the afterlife.number 13 may have been purposely vilified by the founders of patriarchal religions in the early days of western civilization because it represented femininity. Thirteen had been revered in prehistoric goddess-worshiping cultures, we are told, because it corresponded to the number of lunar (menstrual) cycles in a year (13 x 28 = 364 days). The "Earth Mother of Laussel," for example — a 27,000-year-old carving found near the Lascaux caves in France often cited as an icon of matriarchal spirituality — depicts a female figure holding a cresent-shaped horn bearing 13 notches. As the solar calendar triumphed over the lunar with the rise of male-dominated civilization, it is surmised, so did the "perfect" number 12 over the "imperfect" number 13, thereafter considered anathema.
On the other hand, one of the earliest concrete taboos associated with the number 13 — a taboo still observed by some superstitious folks today, apparently — is said to have originated in the East with the Hindus, who believed, for reasons I haven't been able to ascertain, that it is always unlucky for 13 people to gather in one place — say, at dinner. Interestingly enough, precisely the same superstition has been attributed to the ancient Vikings.
Twelve gods were invited to a banquet at Valhalla. Loki, the Evil One, god of mischief, had been left off the guest list but crashed the party, bringing the total number of attendees to 13. True to character, Loki raised hell by inciting Hod, the blind god of winter, to attack Balder the Good, who was a favorite of the gods. Hod took a spear of mistletoe offered by Loki and obediently hurled it at Balder, killing him instantly. All Valhalla grieved. And although one might take the moral of this story to be "Beware of uninvited guests bearing mistletoe," the Norse themselves apparently concluded that 13 people at a dinner party is just plain bad luck.
As if to prove the point, the Bible tells us there were exactly 13 present at the Last Supper. One of the dinner guests — er, disciples — betrayed Jesus Christ, setting the stage for the Crucifixion took place on a Friday?
Wouldn't Mind Knowing Your Own Experiences If Any Of Friday the 13th - Are You A Believer or Non-Believer?
