1. Never walk without a document in your hands
People with documents in their hands look like hardworking employees heading for important meetings. People with nothing in their hands look like they are heading for the canteen. People with newspaper in their hand look like they are heading for the toilet. Above all, make sure you carry loads of stuff home with you at night, thus generating the false impression that you work longer hours than you do.

2. Use computers to look busy
Anytime you use a computer, it looks like “work” to the casual observer. You can send and receive personal e-mail, chat and generally have a blast without doing anything remotely related to work. These aren’t exactly the societal benefits that the proponents of the computer revolution would like to talk about but they are not bad either. When you get caught by your boss – and you *will* get caught – your best defense is to claim you are teaching yourself to use new software, thus saving valuable training expenses.

3. Messy desk
Top management can get away with a clean desk. For the rest of us, it looks like we are not working hard enough. Build huge piles of documents around your workspace. To the observer, last year’s work looks the same as today’s work. It’s volume that counts. Pile them high and wide. If you know somebody is coming to your desk, bury the document you will need halfway down in an existing stack and rummage for it when he/she arrives.

4. Voice Mail
Never answer your phone if you have voice mail. People don’t call you just because they want to give you something for nothing – they call because they want YOU to do work for THEM. That’s no way to live. Screen all your calls through voice mail. If somebody leaves a voice mail message for you and it sounds like impending work, respond during lunch hour when you know they are not there – it looks like you are hardworking and conscientious even though you are being a devious weasel.

5. Looking Impatient and Annoyed
Always try to look impatient and annoyed to give your bosses the impression that you are always busy.

6. Leave the office late
Always leave the office late, especially when the boss is still around. You could read magazines and storybooks that you always wanted to read but have no time until late before leaving. Make sure you walk past the boss’s room on your way out. Send important emails at unearthly hours (e.g. 9:35pm, 7:05am etc.) and during public holidays.

7. Creative Sighing for effect.
Sigh loudly when there are many people around, giving the impression that you are under extreme pressure.

8. Stacking Strategy
It is not enough to pile lots of documents on the table. Put lots of book on the floor etc. (Thick computer manuals are the best)

9. Build Vocabulary
Read up on some computer magazines and pick out all the jargon and new products. Use the phrases freely when in conversation with bosses. Remember: They don’t have to understand what you say, but you will sound impressive.

10. Have two jackets
If you work in a big open plan office, always leave a spare jacket draped over the back of your seat. This gives the impression that you are still on the premises. The second jacket should be worn while swanning around elsewhere.

Gadget name: Bugatti Veyron

Type of gadget: Others

Manufacturer/ Brand: Bugatti

Price (appx.): Rs. 180000000

Review:
For those who are confused as to which is your dream car and for those who think their dream car is a puny Ferrari or a Lamborghini… welcome to the world of Bugatti.

A few days back I was driving back to office and I saw a glimpse of something so stunning and charismatic in the local Bentley and Lamborghini showroom that I stopped my car, took a U turn and went back to the showroom to see what it is. Inside the showroom was a very low raised and very broad car which was very distinct from the Bentley’s near by. The front Grill of the car was so different that it is instantly noticeable and recognizable (not for everyone) at one moment. It was a Bugatti Veyron. I know that most of you haven’t even heard of this name before. U must be asking Bugatti What???
Bugatti Veyron is probably one of the most sophisticated, expensive, powerful, beautiful, Utterly, stunningly, mind blowingly, jaw droppingly brilliant Cars ever made.

• The Car has a top speed of 407.9 Km/Hr, Much faster than any Formula 1 car.
• Its BHP is (hold your breath) an amazing 1001. (1001Bhp)
• It consumes 5 litters of petrol every minute when the car is at full throttle.
• Engine is 7993 CC, 16 cylinders.
• It has a W16 engine, one of the most sophisticated in the world. It is a technological marvel.
• A seven speed gear box
• At top speed, it covers one foot ball field every second.
• Its tires are specially made by Michelin; its rear tires are the broadest in the world for any car.
• It is said that at top speed the tires of the car would burst in 15 minutes. But you don’t have to worry about that; cauz at top speed the car consumes its entire fuel in just 12 minutes. So it can’t run for 15 minutes.
• There are only 300 such cars in the world.
• The car has a rear spoiler which comes up automatically from the boot when it reaches high speed.

Ok, so I was shocked to see this car in the showroom. Saudi Arabia was one of the last countries where I expect to see such a car. Infact I never even thought I would see one in my life time. I touched that car and it felt as if I have entered heaven for the first time…
I took some pictures of it, which u can see here.
My heart broke when the showroom guy said it was already sold to some filthy rich Saudi guy. But when he told me the price… I realized… any way… its not for me, atleast for the time being. It cost 6.2 million Riyals here. That is 7.5 crore rupees. This is just the price of the car. So considering the 100% Import duty and insurance and other taxes… it should cost you around 18 crores in India!!!

Now tell me, which is your dream Car?

Dear Friends!!!

Its good to be well informed about HIV. There was a story on junk some days back where it is said that a boy got infected by HIV virus by eating pani-puri. And there have also been rumors where people are affected by the HIV virus when they got pricked by an HIV infected needle in theaters which is rubbish.

So read along!

Please read following points carefully & don't send emails related to Medical ailments without having complete knowledge about it (even partial knowledge could be grossly dangerous).

* HIV (virus) requires *ONLY* *Blood or Semen* as medium to transmit from one body to another.

* HIV *can not* transmit even through *Saliva*(mucous) i.e . even if HIV-infected patient coughs or smooches and another person is exposed to his sputum (cough) or saliva, the virus still can not transmit because concentration of virus particles in sputum is almost NIL & exposure to air anyway kills virus in fraction of seconds.

* In case an HIV-infected person gets an injury (like the cut in below mentioned story) and he is bleeding, the virus can transmit to another person only if another person has a cut/wound in his body & that too when blood from both person comes in contact with each other* (this is also very very rare unless bleeding is very high) and not otherwise.

* HIV can *never survive in any other liquid* medium also other than blood or semen (& please for God sake ... never in Pani Puri wala pani)

* Even if one drinks an HIV infected blood (or semen) of someone (ingest through Gastro Intestinal track), the virus can not survive in the acidic pH of stomach*. Highest extent of acidity is 0 (practically not possible) so imagine 1 as pH which is in our stomach. (This pH can burn your own finger in less than a second if you dip in that acid).

* Exposure of less than 1 second in AIR KILLS the HIV virus*(hence story of needle pricks in Cinema theatres is a crap). Even if blood from a wound (of infected person) dries up (*blood clot*), *the virus dies*and can not infect anyone else

* HIV transmission is *ONLY* an *INFECTION* i.e. entrance of virus in one's body. It
*DOES NOT MEAN AIDS*

* An HIV-infected person (after entrance of virus) can progress to a condition of AIDS only after *8 to 10 YEARS *(not in 15 days as in the Pani Puri story)

* It is *not HIV (virus) that kills a human* .....the virus attacks immune cells (cells that fight against foreign pathogens/antigens) and hence a person's ability to fight against infections & diseases slowly diminishes and person ultimately dies of a disease which could be as simple as TB

* Most importantly, HIV is no longer a dreadful disease ... it is "*CHRONIC MANAGEABLE DISEASE*" just like Diabetes or Hypertension.

* If there is anything you need to be careful from to prevent HIV is Unsafe sex*, *Blood transfusion* (check before taking) /Blood donation (use sterilized needles only) and any *blood contact during an accident *or so where amount of bleeding is very high.

PLZ O PLZ spread this message to avoid rumors and to educate people.

Valentine's Gift

I wanted to buy you a gift for this Valentines Day.
First I wanted to buy you some chocolates,
but I thought, why should I buy you chocolates
when you are more sweeter than honey.
Then I wanted to buy you a gold ring or necklace,
But I thought, why should I buy you gold-
when you are more precious than a diamond.
Then I wanted to buy you a bunch of roses,
But I thought, why should I buy you roses-
when you are more beautiful than all the flowers in the world.
So I decided to give you the best gift that can ever be given.
Something which will love you
more than it loves itself,
Something which will care for you
more than it cares for itself,
Something which you can trust
more than you trust yourself.
On this day as a gift,
I give you myself.

The life a child sex slave

This is a real life story of a girl in Cambodia. This may not have anything to do with you, but please read it. It brought tears in my eyes… it might help you look at the world a bit differently.

Dalyn, 17, was once among the thousands of young children working as prostitutes in Cambodia. Now living in a shelter, this is her disturbing account of being a child sex slave.

I was living with my grandfather in Cambodia. As a normal, happy child I did not fear anything.
Then, at 12 years old, a woman asked me whether I would like to work at a garment factory.
I agreed and went with her. But she sold me to the owner of a brothel in Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital.
I felt betrayed and cheated. I thought I was going to find work. I never thought I was going to be sold like that.
There were lots of other boys and girls at the brothel. I overheard two pimps bargaining and heard one of them say my price was $150 (£78).
My heart sank and I started asking myself where the hell had I ended up.

Intimidation
I saw many couples coming in and out of the rooms. From that moment on, I knew something was seriously wrong. I was frightened and desperately wanted to ask the children what kind of place this was.
A group of men came into my room and told me to receive a client. I asked what I was supposed to do.
They told me: "Don't worry, you'll know what to do. And if you don't, you'll do it until you do."
I refused but they told me to shut up and said that "one way or the other" I was going to have to do as they say.
They dragged me out of the room and I screamed and called out for help.
They put a gun to my head. I pleaded for my life, telling them this wasn't the work I had been led to believe I would be doing.
But the brothel owner said: "You didn't follow anyone here. You're here of your own free will. You are a prostitute and you came here looking to work as a prostitute."
I said: "I'm young and I have my future ahead of me. Please don't make me do something like this."

Starved
But then he said I would be shot if I refused. He ordered in a group of men carrying electric cables.
I cried and screamed out for help but nobody came.
They starved me until I agreed to go with clients.
I was locked in a cage with others underneath the brothel for entire days. I was only ever allowed out when a client came.
Some clients were considerate and quite kind. Others were not.
If I refused to perform particular sex acts, clients would beat me up and report me to the brothel owner.
The brothel owner would also beat me and tell the other girls in the brothel to beat me too.
The psychological impact was horrendous. It lives with me even to this day.
When it finally dawned on me that I was a prostitute, I felt a sense of utter disgust. I had become the very thing I most despised.
It is slavery of the worst kind. They have total power over you - they get you to do anything they want.
You feel like dirt and there is nothing you can do except follow orders. You could end up dead.

Rescue
I was scared right up until the brothel owner was arrested. Then I realised that we were being rescued.
We were rescued by the police and the AFESIP, an organisation whose founder, Somaly Man, is a former child sex slave and famous figure in Cambodia.
I was so relieved and happy.
I do not know what the future will bring.
I feel it is my obligation to tell everyone that they should do everything they can to prevent themselves and others going through prostitution and all the things I had to go through.
By the end of it, you will end up lower then you can ever imagine... in hell.

Can you imagine yourself in the place of this girl? If there is anything you can do to stop such a racket from flourishing in your neighborhood, please do it – you might save another Dalyn.

Strength of a Man

The strength of a man isn't seen in the width of his shoulders.
It is seen in the width of his arms that encircle you.

The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice.
It is in the gentle words he whispers.

The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has.
It is how good a buddy he is with his kids.

The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work.
It is in how respected he is at home.

The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits.
It is in how tender he touches.

The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest.
It is in his Heart that lies within his chest.

The strength of a man isn't how many women he's Loved.
It is in can he be true to one woman.

The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift.
It is in the burdens he can understand and overcome.

Dear ladies,

I wish u all a wonderful Womens Day. On this day I would like to tell that you people have been wonderful all these years as a mother, a sister, a companion and a loving daughter. Without you, our lives would have been as plain as a desert. You have added lush green gardens and flowers in it… without you, we are meaningless. You complete us. On this day we salute you and thank you for your generosity, your love and your care…

On behalf of all men (atleast most of them)
Aneesh Sathar.
