the great American legal system:
evrery boy knows famous (?) Mr O J Simpson. he murdered his wife and her boyfriend with a knife.in his home and American court after prolponged trial found him not guilty and aquitted him for want of evidence.
alas see what happens now! Mr O J Simpson wa found guilty in breaking into shop and decoity etc. O J pleaded that he wa innocent . he did not know that his frinds were armed and he just wanted to recover stolen medals from the pawn shop he broke into. i think he was telling the truth.

well in America they find you guilty when you are having eveidence as similar to indian system.

The laughing matter is O J was found not guilty when he was guilty and aquitted and now found guilty when he was 100% telling the truth and was innocent.

pitiable professions:

Pitiable professions:

Recently pilot of an airliner was caught drunk on duty, and also two more were asleep on the flight (I suspect may be drunk) and overshot Mumbai airport.
It is a pity that profession like pilots where they earn about 6 lakhs per month and they cannot drink alcohol as and when they want is pitiable. Alas where else will they spend their hard earned money? Alas when they can afford to buy and drink as much alcohol they want but cannot consume even if they want to is a very pitiable situation.
Only option is they can sneak through when there is man power shortage of checkers as DGCA said or say when the checkers themselves are drunk on duty.
Or the best option is pilots can become teetotalers and do a great favour especially to frequent flyers who are deadly worried about their condition, what do you think?
Being on the subject you may notice that drunk driving especially among younger generation is on the rise. You may say they are on the ground and it is lesser evil. But I don’t want to get knocked over by these drivers and always make it a point to walk on the footpaths of Mumbai every time requesting poor hawkers to make some way for me. Ultimately footpaths are made for pedestrians and not as a market.

career choice of people

Choice of career of people :

It was being discussed on t v by yogini of Brahma Kumari Ishawariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.. They said when someone selects careers like drawing artist, social worker, singer tc by choice the parents and society starts to compare with others about status and income level etc and the parson may not feel comfortable at the choice. That’s obvious in current society.

Well what about cateer of your choice? Why not. Be sure to go ahead.

But I feel that in life priorities financial and position status is very important. So the solution to problem is what I have seen some people adopt. What they do is have side or part time money earning activity for example start a rural bank, small agency to sell commodities, etc. only thing is the person will have to work harder. But remember only hard work will bring in money required and not idleness.

I feel every Indian (even an orphan from orphanage) is worth lakhs if he starts a small business activity in a city.

Other option is go with qualification for career of good income and then after you are sure of standing then dump the career for you choice (no harm in starting at any age).

This way you will feel happy that you ave done what you always wanted to do.

SMOKING BY RESEARCH HAS BEEN FOUND THAT IT DAMADGES THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM( EVEN PASSIVE SMOKING MIND YOU) QUITE THROUGHLY.SIMILARLY DRINKING EVEN IN SMALL QUANTITY IS EQUALLY HARMFUL TO DIGESTIVE SYSYTEM SAY STOMACH, PANCREAS, LIVER ETC. I HAVE SEEN QIUTE YOUNG PEOPLE DYING DUE TO VOMITING OF BLOOD IN MEDICAL COLLEGE.
WELL YOU WILL SAY DOCTOR , ALL PEOPLE DO NOT SUFFER ONLY FEW MAY WORSON…. NOT TRUE. Morality:

There is great discussion on TV news channels about society morals especially regarding sexual behaviour and sex education to students etc.
As far as morals are concerned the acceptable morals differ in different countries, different states, cities, regions, religions etc There are no standards common to all except on very few points like murder. But generally killing (say by bombing) the Indians is no crime in Pakistan and smuggling gold is no crime in UAE.
The moral standards are also changing in our country over the years. Revealing Dress code, acceptability of dating in cities, discotheques, drug culture all are new phenomenon’s beginning to be acceptable in high society in big cities. As economic prosperity of our citizens increases the cultural changes are taking place in society.
May be they are side effects of consumerism.
Whatever society today accepts is o k with me but my point is about moral policeing.
Sometimes orthodox religionist rise or political things like bajarang dal, muslim organizations etc create ruckus on the issues. That’s what is going to cause clashes of culture and give shocks to society which are undesirable. Police have raided lovers in gardens and beaches! I object to unnecessary moral policing by anybody but rather undrtand the fact that moral standards are changing and bound to change irrespective of religions, cultures , communities.

life today....

Life today as it is….
These are bits of life today …very short article … stray thoughts
Part 1:

My cousin said “ most people today just look to doing frauds to get money. It was not so in our times.” Well my cousin is sixty five tears old, retired bank officer and I think he is right ( I am 60 years old.).
I think the problem is with community morals. In our times only criminals and dacoits etc category used to be in the jails. But now every category that is industrialist, politicians, professionals, police themselves, high government officers, private company officials
what not ? are in jail. Obviously the meaning of being in jail has changed today.
I don’t want to go into then and now because I know there is generation gap. I obviously feel bad but present world may feel at ease with these people.
Rules today and punishments are also odd. For economic offense there used to be fines and penalties earlier but now it is amended to jail sentence.( I don’t know why?) may be like diaper training the Indian government wants to train people in jail life. Recently a high civil officer was sentensed to a month in jail by legislature for offending a chief minister. Naturally rule makers and police are encourages to put people in jail for everything possible For example I heard that for traffic offense like using mobile while driving the errant drivers are going to be jailed.
I think previous fining system was better. The society must do something different for keeping society moral than these measures. I think just jail wont make any difference or there would have been less crimes by now..

True History Of India
History of India:

Well I studied history as everyone else in school. Those were post british days and curriculum was not as sensored as today. So I got fare bit of true picture.

Now I am coming back to history of India to have a few analytical observations on it. Of course people are free to discuss from their point of view.
First point is I tried to take stock of biggish powerfull hindu rulers of India. Well in 1000 b c to nearly 1 a d any Indian kings who were powerful militarily, never defeated in their lifetime, could fight strongly foreign invaders were very very few. In fact when I took stock the names of Chandragupta Mourya only comes fore. In post a d era for upto 800 years only other name that stands out was Harshwardhan.
This gave answer to one question that came to my mind often that why parts of India were always under some or other foreign invader after 800 a d.
it was only after valiant fights of matathas based in Pune that hindu rule came to most of India after 1700 a d . In between 900 years or so were pure hell for India.
Now after 1950 whether India is under heaven or hell is not clear, mostly under british influenced Congressman ( Gandhi brigade I call them).
Well India is such a big country but had so few powerfull world beating hindu rulers is
shows the reason for current fate or state of India.

THE LAST LOG AT FROPPER

Web site launch:
I have launched a new web site www.lifenewspath.com to publish items of importance to life of people. People of course can give their own life experiences and comment. So I will not be regular to blogging in social sites.
The new site will carry hindu religious messages for common people. Also present social life will be analysed. There will be cautions to common people about criminal and con activities by some people in the name of good deeds. Political wrong doings will be high lighted. Generally the site should make a useful read for people in their spare time. This is all done because people now a days like to be online for sometime in the day but do not have time to aquire info through newspapers, social meetings etc.
People do not know many historical stories about India due to sensored text and other books. Its like Gobbles propaganda and under such circumstances we urgently need some site to publish correct Indian history.
People of past generations aquired knowledge through books, texts, religious discourses, joint family interactions and that made Indian populace. Present Educated middle class and their family and children can learn through only sites which tell unbiased truth. That’s the purpose of this site.

no write ups till Diwali:
well its fest season and people are busy. Happy Diwali to all in advance! Enjoy all. eat sweets, buy clothes, wish everyone, send cards etc Dont forget to watch new release of bollywood.they may be bad but they are ours after all.
well simultaneously raise your blood sugar level, incease the noise and smoke pollution, waste elecrticity by show off and so on.
remeber post people are also busy (collecting post?).its the trade name now. so your greeting card wont reach in time anyway.
there will be some drain on your pocket but all in good spirit. but my mrs said why shouldnt we go to Goa this diwali for 10 days. good idea no? wink

great fuss over little things

Great fuss over little thing:
These are few stray thoughts. I think I am making great fuss over little thing really.
What happened is that few days back Mr Dhoni cut his hair sort. In fact few days back Dhoni himself was not so well recognized. But now he is the captain of Indian cricket team (only for one dayers and twenty twentys).
Dhoni in his long hairs was trade mark. The add world made such a hype over his hair that they will have to use wigs in his future add appearance to keep the picture value. Anyway Dhoni really cut the hair before coming home from cricket tours after many years so he must be afraid that his mother will scold him for not cutting the hair for so long. Well I am surprised that the cricket tours have started to be for over many years now, previously they used to be for many months. But I am happy Dhoni decided to go to his family home after this much time at least, which will make his mother happy.
One particular news item said that Mr Parvez Mussharaf became unhappy that Dhoni cut his hair despite his advice not to cut them and made cutty with him. What is this compard to Mr Mussharafs cutty with India as such, though media was happy that Mussharaf was pleased with Dhonis hair at least.
The hair will grow back if Dhonis mother allows him to, ( or may be his girl friend commented he will get bigger role in hindi movies by cutting hair short) I don’t know.
Rely on media to make such a big fuss over small things, may be they have nothing else to write on.
