How did one survive growing up in the 70's, 80's and 90's?

We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other…. How? No one knows…

We had no seatbelts, no airbags and sitting in the back of a truck was a treat…

We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun….

Cycling was like a breath of fresh air…

Opening kitchen cupboards was a breeze… as safety locks were unheard off…

No safety helmets, knee pads or elbow pads, with plenty of cardboards between spokes to make it sound like a motorbike…

When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery…
We kept busy collecting bits & pieces so we could build all sort of things … and we were fearless on our bikes even when the brakes failed going downhill…

We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…
We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our bike.

We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…. nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours

We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around.
And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swag from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs...

We did not have Play Stations, MP3, Nintendo's, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ... BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!

We called on friends to come out to play, never rang the doorbell, just went around the back…

We loved being let loose in the big bad world…without bodyguards…

We played with sticks and stones, played cowboys and Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…
Such were the days…

We had freedom, success, disappointments and responsibilities. ..
Most of all, we learned to respect others…

Are YOU from that generation?

Maybe this message will help to all my friends from the same era to forget the stress that surrounds us these days…....and just for a few moments puts a smile to their faces as they remember what life was really like in the good old days……
HAVE A SUPER DAY! with Golden Days Value!!!!!!! !
Love & Warmth of sweet memories, Mamta

     Sarvamangala Mangalye Sive Sarvarthasadhike,
     Saranye Tryambake Devi Narayani Namostute

Whole cosmic power  is always present everywhere from origin of universe. Our world is created due to manifestation of infinite intelligence into mass, energy and consciousness in the Garba (womb) of our universal mother -Ma Durga.
So Thanks to cosmic power because we are living safest place of the universe for attaining true love.

Everyone can feel true bliss when we mediate our minds on graceful appearance of Ma Durga and chant a simple word - Ma. After some times your voice (Ma) will match with cosmic sound OM and ultimately your soul feel true feeling of resonance in your heart.

So don’t wait and release your divine power through calling JAI MATA DI.
I think that it is a first and final journey of every human being for attaining salvation (MOKSHA), which automatically encourages us for creation of purposeful life, happiness, love and wealth.

“ The individual soul is therefore identified with universal soul” Brahadaranyaka Upanishad

Jai Mata Di ……. Jai Ma Durga

May the Divine Devi, the Mother, bless you all!

once I had read a story which touched my heart ....
I want to share it with all of u ......

A man once went to see a doctor complaining of aches and pains all over his body.

"Doctor my whole body hurts me," he moaned. The doctor asked him to show exactly where the pain was.

The man explained, "When I touch my shoulder, it hurts. When I touch my back it hurts. When I touch my legs, they hurt."

The doctor did a thorough examination and told the man-

"Sir, there is nothing wrong with your body. Your finger is broken. That is why it hurts wherever you touch. Get your finger
plastered, rest it for a couple of weeks and all of your pains will disappear."!!

SPIRITUAL COMMENTARY

In life so frequently it is our own perspective that causes us pain or pleasure.

we make the mistake of blaming the external world for our ailments: "My job is over-taxing, my husband is too demanding, my wife nags, my children are disobedient, my in-laws don't understand me, etc. etc."
But if you look throughout the world you will be able to find someone who has the same type of job, but is calm, or someone who has the same type of spouse but is happy, or someone who has the same type of children but is patient, or someone who has the same type of in-laws but is grateful.

What is it that allows 2 people to experience the same external situation but respond in 2 different ways?

Our own perspective. Our own perception. The key, then, is not to try to change every situation in our life, but rather to change the glasses through which we see the world.

A massage for the back or shoulder or legs would not help the man in our earlier example because it is his finger which is broken. He could spend hundreds of dollars to ease the pain in his body, but unless he puts his broken finger in a splint, he will continue to experience pain every time that finger touches the various parts of his body.
Similarly, we run around through life trying to "fix" our jobs or marriages or family life, but frequently the reality is in our own perspective. If we spend the same amount of energy "fixing" our perspective as we spend trying to "fix" our spouse or children, everything would be fine.

This is not to say that pains and troubles don't really exist in our day to day life. Of course they do.The man in our example may also have a stiff back or sore shoulders. But the excruciating pain he experienced was due not to the minor aches and pains in his body, but due to the severely broken finger with which he was touching them.
Similarly, our jobs and our families are taxing. They demand a lot of us. But the unbearable pain many of us experience is due not to the demands and commands from without, but due to the demands and commands from within ourselves.

In the Gita it is said that we are our best friend and also our own worst enemy, depending upon how we live our lives.

From today let us all take some time to examine what our own personal "broken finger" is.

What is it within ourselves that causes us to experience pain in the world? What irrational fear, what unfulfillable desire, what selfish motive, what ego-driven need has broken the finger with which we feel the world or has colored the glasses with which we see? We spend so much time examining others, but very little time examining our own selves.

The Source of all joy and peace lies within us.

We are blocked from that Source by a host of desires, fears and ignorance.

The key to finding and tapping into that Source must come from within.

Let us find the key within ourselves and unleash the Ocean of Divine Bliss in our lives!!

                                     THANK YOU

                                                                           MOM

Why are you crying, a young boy asked his Mom?
"Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said.
His Mom just hugged him and said,
"And you never will, but that's O.K.".......

Later the little boy asked his father,
"Why does Mom seem to cry for no reason?".

"All women cry for no reason," was all his Dad could say......
The little boy grew up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him,
he asked ...."God, why do women cry so easily?"
GOD answered.... .. "When I made woman,
I decided she had to be special.
I made her shoulders
strong enough to carry
the weight of the world, yet,
made her arms gentle enough to give comfort...

I gave her the inner strength
to endure childbirth
and the rejection
that many times will come
even from her own children.

I gave her a hardness
that allows her
to keep going and take care
of her family and friends,
even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue without
complaining. ...

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all
circumstances. Even when her child has hurt her badly...

She has the very special power to make a child's boo-boo feel better and
to quell a teenager's anxieties and fears....

I gave her strength to care for her husband, despite faults
and I fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart....

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but
sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him
unfalteringly. ...

For all of this hard work,
I also gave her a tear to shed.
It is hers to use
whenever needed and !
it is her only weakness....

When you see her cry,
tell her how much you love her, and all she does for everyone, and even though
she may still cry, you will have made her heart feel good
.

                                                          She is special!

Love Your Mother Always And Keep Her Smiling

I could not believe this..... Very interesting
WATER
.
#1 Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as 3%.

#2One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs
for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of
Washington study.

#3Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

#4 Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of
water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain
for up to 80% of sufferers.

#5 A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term
memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on
the computer screen or on a ! printed page.

#6 Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of
colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast
cancer by 79%., and one is 50% less likely to develop
bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water
you should drink every day?
COKE

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries
two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from
the highway after a car accident.

#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke
and it will be gone in two days.

#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the
toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour,
then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous China .

#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds
Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour
a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble
away the corrosion.

#6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola
to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

#7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into
the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake.
Thirty minutes before ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing
the drippings to mix
with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

#8... To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke
into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run
through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen
grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your
windshield.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
#1. the active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric
acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major
contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.
#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup! (the concentrate) the
commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place
cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean
engines of the trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would you like a glass of water? or Coke?

Once in a lifetime...
You are born into a world of hopes and dreams
Your mind is pure and innocence runs free

Once in a lifetime...
You grow and mature and remember thoughts of yesterday
Which set your destiny and make you the person you are today
Be proud of who you are and don't be afraid of change
Life is a game of chance, so play to win

Once in a lifetime...
A person touches your heart and reaches within your soul
You'll treasure that forever and never let it go

Once in a life time...
You will grow old
You will look back at your life with fond memories and smile
Remembering the glorious times you've spent
With those you loved the most

Once in a lifetime you are born
Born into a world of hopes and dreams
Treasure your life as well as others around you

For only Once In A Lifetime
You are born into this world
