Yes Shailesh, Hair Om,
Two lightened lamps will ensure that whatever little darkness is left beneath the lightened lamp, vanishes.
Also there is one more point that comes to mind that for the light we need at least a lamp, some oil, match stick, and then that little piece of clothe(jyot) which will allow itself to be burnt out, and be use as medium in order to project light.
After this we need earth to put this lamp on, and also ensure that this light is protected from high speed winds, rains and what not.
So much to learn and so much to share, let us continue.........
Regards. |

Another aspect of spirituality is spontaneity and sharing of happiness which comes automatically with inner happiness. You start feeing sad for the people with stubborn approach, which they learn in process of ageing and suffer throughout their life.Knowledge gives you empathy to help and guide these people in life. |

Hari Om praveen,
sorry for the delay in replying to your post was away for a couple of days.
The earthern lamp (prithvi tatva) the oil (jal tatva) the air it needs to burn (vayu tatva) the flame (agni tatva) and the space ie the vacuum it creates while burning (akash tatva) all five elements of nature are present in the lighted lamp but it almost depends upon the wick (cotton thread which burns and that is prana so long as it is there the lamp burns and provides light but if it finishes than no matter if all the elements are present the lamp becomes useless.
our life too is similar to the lamp, lets burn together and brighten the surrounding.
HARI OM TAT SAT

Hari Om praveenajooba,
In my salutation itself i always remember that spark which has brought our lamps to lighted state and the other medium i.e. fropper, yes that too has to be thanked to have brought us together by the grace of god. anyway it was all destined we are but only an excuse to have come together.
I wish the same state of affairs remains always.

Dear Bunty Hari Om,
I would like to tell you one very important event, it was when i was learning Karate in my younger days, our sensei told us one chinese adage, it goes like this.
if your temper goes forth hold your hand, and if your hand goes forth hold your temper.
the meaning is quite simple if you loose temper means that if u become angry try to hold your hand lest u pick up a fight, on the other hand if the situation is quarrelsome hold your temper i.e. do not become angry. when i was given this explaination as a novice i asked my sensei, how to control my anger to this he replied. We become angry when we arent strong enough to tolerate the other persons actions so we should make ourselves stronger. One we are strong enough to tolerate anger vanishes automatically.
as regards consoling someone who is angry we have to help him to become stronger to tolerate and the first step is to bring out his resentment in open so that he realises his weakness of non tolerance and then slowly help him to overcome it.

Hi Shailesh, Hari Om,
I wish the same state of affairs remains always.
Change is the only factor that always there. The sooner we learn to adopt to these changes, without getting adversly affected by such changes, the better it will be for us.
Your wish reminds me of one such devotee. He was the closest of the devotee of God, such was his closeness to God, that whenever he sat in front of the idol of the God and prayed God to bless him with the Darshan. The God used to come out of the idol and fulfill his wish.
Then one day, one yogi suggested him that he should seek the guidance from some Guru, surprised; he asked, that he is such devoted person to God, that God comes out of idol as and when he seeks God's Darshan. Where then is the need for him to seek any guidance form the Guru. That yogi told him, that whenever God gives you darshan, you feel happy; and whenever God goes back, you become sad.
To get rid of this emotion, you need guidance from some guru, and as a result of that guidance, you'll still be the kind of devotee you are right now, but that sense of being happy or being sad will vanish.
Hence, let us be thankful to God, for the way He has blessed and let us pray God to continue shower the blessings in whatever way He deems fit, and we too be blessed with the insight to see the good in all that He does.
Regards. |

Dear Praveenajooba Hari Om !!!
Sorry for the delay in my post again as i was a bit tied up and yesterday the gprs server was down.
I really feel at home a solace by reading yr posts. and always check first what have u posted in my fav forums.
Truly as said by you that one should abstain from the feelings of sadness or of hapiness created by the external things and i believe if one can achieve this he/she is in the permanant state of bliss which we all humans crave for. but it is our foolishness to attach the feelings of hapiness or sadness to things and events which we get or go through. good times or bad times do not survive but we do and hense it is but required to remain Samdrishti and see them as passing clouds.
looking forward to more posts
Hari Om Tat Sat,
shailesh.

Dear Rahul,
The very basic for any quest, is that the feeling of I ness and you ness must go.
We can never be sure that is it me who seeks the gyaan, or is it my mind,or is it my heart or is it my soul who seeks gyaan?
Similarly, gyaan is sought from me, from my mind, from my heart, from my soul, or what ever?
To begin with we all are gyaanis here, because being the sons of the One Father(Read the One God) we all bear the same Surname.
Only fact remains that you may be gyaani in one field while someone else may be gyaani in some other field. The basic tendency in most of us to be the master of all fields is the reason why we seek gyaan from the sons of the same father. Only when we have the complete gyaan of all the fields then only we may consider oursleves being perfect. Come to think of it, who does not want to be perfect?
I am sure, there are all the friends, who have their own set of experiences to share on the subject and being friends they will surely try to help you out with your doubts.
Will continue the post in days to come........
Best of luck.
P S Guru gaye tel lene. Guru ji has gone to fetch oil. |
