Germany is a nice place to visit, especially this time of the year! We have sunny days, followed by scarce showers. People are helpful, but reserved. You do need a German book incase you are travelling to the interiors or if you are a vegetarian yup

Hi Bemanat & Reen,
I have been around 4 years in Germany and things have certainly become expensive compared to the times when we had DM. Though this has brought an equanimity in EU, the buying power of people has drastically fallen. So Reen if you havent been in the last 2 years in Germany, expect to stock in some more money for your next trip!
Bis dann,
Kuky.

hi, kuky ! gutten tag und vielen danke fur ihre , note
hope u enjoy ur ! trip to munich ! plz. do share ur experience afterwords 'how did u feel after actually looking at Neuschwanstein castle', i wud like 2 know a'bout it.
as for venice, it's a tourist place - said to be the most beautiful place in the world, gandola ride n'all - but u have to pinch ur nose all the time during the ride , if u travel during tourist season ! -water of inner canals -realy stinks! Can't Talk

also one feels, little sad- a'bout the poorly maintained city centre walls- some body said that, a very large part of income goes in maintaining the under water foundations of the houses' to keep them standing '
sitll the sea view from st.mark.sq is good - u will love to stand on bridges city with historical culture, also see making of some good pieces of vanician glass items ! n' nice enjoy soulful music of gandola rower's durig dusky hours
wish u happy trip to u n' ur mom !
bye reen.

Hi Reen,
Just returned from Venice and Munich. Trip to Venice was magnificent. You are right the canal water was indeed stinking and the climate the oppressively hot and there were lots of Japanese tourists. It was a pity to see the old monuments in a pathetic state. We bought a handful of glass items from Murano. Nevethless Venice is a beautiful place to visit if you are married Wink I have uploaded a couple of pictures about Neuschwanstein Castle, if you are interested I can send you the link to view them. I would say the view from the Marien Brücke is really wonderful. The Castle would look like a fairy tale scence in winter covered under snow.
Where else have you been in Europe?
Kishan.

hi kuky and bemanat,
I am planning to visit warsaw – USA to Frankfurt/ or Paris and then Warsaw if time permits even Belarus.
Does it make sense to land at frankfurt as cheap and easy or just go to berlin but have to come back to frankfurt to go to India. Any suggestions to save some time . I am having tough time to see how I can use night train travel to berlin to save time.

Thanks
