An evening out with 2 drunk friends!

When you ask friends where they are and the reply is Toto's, it's more than tempting to invite yourself over too. Or if someone dangles that carrot in front of your nose, you cannot say no. Carrots are very good for health!

The other day I went to Toto's with two friends, who I have gone there with earlier too. Both these boys - let's call them L and K are mad hatters, big pranksters and totally incorrigible! They keep me in splits with their mad anecdotes all the time.

Anyway, so K excused himself to go to the loo at one point and came back after 5 mins with a big smile. I mistook that as the smile of being relieved of the burden in the bladder. The he declares proudly, "I locked up a Norwegian guy in the loo." I almost spat all my vodka out. Then K explains, "That dude was acting weird. He saw the latch on the door and said, 'Is this how Indian toilets are bolted? Hope it wouldn't open.' Dude, he was so condescending; I got bugged. I just wanted to prove how well Indian latches can bolt!" We didn't see the Norwegian guy coming out till we left at least.

When these two guys are tipsy, they never call me by my name but call me Janis. I usually wonder if they are commenting on my junglee zulfein. But, no, they wouldn't dare do that.

We got out of Toto's and took an autorickshaw. The driver turned out to be from UP and one of those yapping away to glory types. He was making up for his music system being hushed up by us. Barely 5 minutes later, we got bored of his talking because we couldn't talk ourselves. So, L tells the rick guy about himself and K, "Hum dono Shiv Sena se hain." That was it, for the next hour long ride, the rick guy didn't utter a single word!

Then I was told that I am the only girl they ride back drunk with, because they would have no fear of being mugged coz I would rough the mugger up. Damn! I sure have a reputation that precedes me.
