Cheap Party Dresses UK island traveller reviews

Hayling Cheap Party Dresses UK island traveller reviews We had our wedding, reception and after wedding party at the hotel on 22nd september 2012 and could not have been more happier with our big day.We were lucky to have manageress carol as our wedding planner and from the onset of our requests and needs, it was clear that nothing was a problem to her and that all would be fullfilled. The ceremony was faultless and the help from all the staff in making sure it went as smoothly as it did was very appreciated. Our reception meal was of the highest quality matched only by the service of the waitresses/waiters.The party in the manor suite was superbly managed by the very friendly bar staff to which nothing was too much trouble. The evening buffet was of the same high standard as the main reception meal and very nicely arranged and set out.We had the honeymoon suite and had several guest rooms booked and each room was clean and well presented. The hotel itself is within its own gardens which give a good backdrop to the wedding photographs and also provides a peacefull haven. There is also plenty of available parking within the hotel grounds. We can recommend this hotel for weddings, holidays and weekend breaks.Chris and wendy Room tip:All rooms seemed fine Sale Prom Dresses 2014 to me We stayed here for a night in september and were initially impressed. The family room we were in had a lovely view of a courtyard garden and was very spacious, even with a double bed and two singles.Unfortunately, the courtyard turned out to be the designated smoking area for staff and as the bar is open till at least 1am, staff take breaks at unsociable hours. We were woken by staff laughing, shouting to each other and playing football at midnight.Even after we called out of the window reminding them that were guests trying to sleep, the laughter and chatter carried on till 12.30am.Added to that, our window was open so the cigarette smoke was wafting straight in to our room. When we complained the next day the duty manager informed us that she'd"Have a word"With the staff members involved.Personally, i think an apology when we called out to them would have also been appropriate, but that didn't occur to them. From now on, i will happily forgo period features and posh toiletries and stick to the quiet rooms of a premier inn. Room tip:If you require a good night sleep or a family room, ask to be put somewhere on the opposite side of. Having parents living on hayling island has seen many, many years of family celebrations from mother's day to wedding anniversaries and birthdays to just a celebratory meal because we are visiting them spent in the restaurant at the newtown house hotel.I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal there.Until last sunday(The 9th september)That is.It was my mother's 85th birthday and we all looked forward to either the a la carte menu(Which is normally excellent)Or the carvery(Which was also excellent the last time we eat there). We were left waiting for a waitress to bring us a menu in the bar.No one came, so i went to fetch the menu myself.I was informed by other diners that the main menu wasn't available, just a set menu of 3 courses. (Which would have been nice to have been told about before booking the table. )We were treated with indifference by the 2 waitresses. The starters were lovely. Then came the horror of the main event. My poor little mother could neither cut the belly pork, nor chew it, it was so tough. My beef was 2 chunks of some tough overcooked gristleladen offering. The potatoes were more warmed through than roasted and the vegetables were a plateful of frozen peas with a few pieces of carrot and green bean to jazz it up.I am saddened by this and will vote with my feet and never return. We had our wedding reception here in august and were really pleased with how well our day went. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accomodating and we were made to feel really special. The food was excellent and a number of our guest had dinner in the restaurant the night before and commented on how impressed they were.Breakfast was also really good and freshly prepared.I saw a number of our guests rooms and they were all clean, modern and decorated nicely.I like how it is a small hotel with lots of character and the rooms are not all identical. The gardens are lovely for sitting out on a warm summer's evening and as it is a secluded courtyard style it was perfect for the children to run around safely away from the road and car park. There is plenty of parking and it's only 5 minutes drive to the beach.I've also visited the hotel for afternoon tea on a separate occasion and it was delicious!I would recommend this hotel as a good venue for a wedding/function but also for a short break by the sea.
