The big O - yes, yes, yes... Orgasm!

Now that I have got this perfectly cheesey title *smug... extremely smug*, I'm really (s)excited. Gosh, Nova's turning into a porn writer! I can make a lotta money ;)

Anyway, this is not an establishing-myself-as-a-great-porn-writer post. Actually, I don't even know the purpose of this one. Was reading an article about how only 26 per cent of Indian women have an orgasm during sex, reason being neither men nor women in India are willing to experiment. And worldover, only 32 per cent of women had orgasms almost every time they had sex.

And then the report had a box on translation of orgasm in different languages. Here goes (my two bit in brackets)

Orgasm is also called...

Gujarati: Santosh (Sorry, but I'll never be able to look at any guy named Santosh straight in the eye!)
Marathi: Samadhan (There are restaurants called Samadhan. Maybe they mean their food is really yummy, like so many of my friends have a dish and say, 'Mmm absolutely orgasmic'. Good advertising idea)
Punjabi: Tasalli (Ho gayi tasalli? is a very common Hindi phrase. LOL)
Tamil: Trupti (There goes my fav line 'Aatma ki tripti'... aatma tript ho gayi... Imagine, someone asks a girl named Tripti, 'So what does your name mean?' Tripti: Oh, it means orgasm.)
Urdu: Sukoon (Mujhe raaton ko sukoon nahin... Hmm should mean I don't have sex at night any more or have bad sex)
Bengali: Bhaalo laglo (Tomar saathe dekha kore bhaalo laglo. It was orgasmic to meet you. LOL)

I am coming in for the second comment here. I sympathise with women who have this problem with their guys. The women anotomy is different from men's and there are sensitive points on the women's body. If the male handles this scientifically he is the perfect man( i mean sexually). Of course stamina plays a part in this. Orgasm can be brought in a tougher woman.We are from the land of Kamasutra, many tend to forget this.
