Trust Bollywoodians to cash in on a controversial incident, especially rape, and make a film. And trust them even more to rape the subject and dish out a crap fest in the name of realistic cinema. For example the movie based on the rape of the 12-year-old mentally challenged girl in a Mumbai local train.
Anyway, right now the freshest one is the unfortunate and horrifying Scarlett Keeling rape and murder case. And guess who might be playing the role. Katrina Kaif! The director Prabhakar Shukla says that Katrina would suit the role... Erm, of a 15-year-old girl who had serious alcohol and drugs abuse issues, and who was apparently obsessed with sex also? *Sorry, I don't mean to insult Scarlett but this is what her diary shows.* I don't think Katrina would really take that as a compliment. The only common factor, perhaps, is that they are both from the UK.
The name of the movie 'Rave Party' should tell you how seriously it's going to be dealth with. Sets the right opportunity to throw a slick, trance-like item song in, in the name of rave party.
And pray why Katrina for such a sensitive role? She's better off doing Namaste London and Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya and such. Even Ram Gopal Varma couldn't make her act in Sarkar!
I think she is the most deadpan Bollywood actress ever. So, the director will say, 'Katrina, look scared...' and Katrina's expression will be this ------>
