Ban the Bans ...

When it comes to drama, no cricket board is less competent to another. This time it is Pakistan Cricket Board’s turn.
Ban the speedster for five years from all forms of cricket..!!!
Then comes IPL’s refusal to allow him to play in the current series.
PCB gives in a bit, says “The ban is only in Pakistan. He can play outside Pak.’
IPL twisting arms of PCB, “Not accepted. Still he cannot play”
PCB “Damn Indeeyans.. Kum-se-kum Phive Lakh Dollars kee sawaal hai. Kya kareyngey…??? OK. We suspend the ban for a month… Ek Mahine key liye, Show-ebb Akhtar can play. He is not guilty for next one month and then he will be guilty for next 5 years…. So, in the name of the Spirit of Krikeettt, Hum Is Ban ko ek mahine kay liye Suspeeend Karthey Hain.. ”.

And the Indians, the Kolkattans, the Cricket fans, the Super-star and the BCCI – All are ecstatic over the decision..

Officials of Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, which owns the Knight Riders, were euphoric on receiving the news.
"We are glad and relieved that Shoaib is finally going to turn out for us. We hope he is available to play in Thursday's match. This development has also made Shah Rukh happy,"
said top Red Chillies official IS Bhandari.

Wow… Hats off to the spirit of Krikkett…

Why ban in the first place and then ban the ban…
making the entire thing as another Big Joke…

Now that krikeet has crossed all boundaries in its way to commercialism, let the ICC and all the Cricket boards stop these policing, throw all these Code-of-conduct, on-field off-field behavior, fining match-fees and banning for few games etc..etc... out of the window...
and
let it free-for-all…
Just like another W W F…..

Excellent KB Sir! This entire Shoaib drama had to unfold this way and when it's about BCCI-PCB and now one more circus in the ring-IPL, everything gets so predictable! Anyway, I find it really funny that Red Chillies is ACTUALLY happy to have that erratic, perpetual trouble maker and delirious speedster in their team. I think after Shoaib entering that KKR XI, their troubles will only elevate...

more likely shoaib must have received advice to take pcb to court for infringing on his right to pursue his chosen profession ...after all he is a professional cricketer.

the threat of compensation for the monetory loss suffered due to absence from ipl must have resolved moral ambiguity in a hurry!

the pcb can refuse to consider him eligible for selection but it surely can't stop him from playing ALL cricket the rest of his life!!
