skewed sex ratio....

It is shocking to read that there are some villages in india where just a handfull of girls exist.most of them are killed before they are even born and the rest after they are born.so where are we headed. we say girl is a form of devi, she is worshipped as lakshmi but the same is killed over dowry be it before birth as poor parents cannot afford her dowry or after marriage for insufficientdowry. its time we did some introspection and learn to respect women .

well, that's the contradiction, we cherish..praying the dieties and killing girls in the womb itslf..denying them life. that contraction can be seen playing in our mind, attitude n daily mannerism too..how far we respect womanhoood is clealry shown by the number of times we use filthy language pertaining to women or females
