why we cry for oninon
one day tomato, onion nd potato were sitting togethr in kitchen talking to each other happily. maide cam for making food nd took potato and start cutting potato with knife.. watching this condition of potato, tomato nd onion both were crying .. after potato now it was tomato's turn to come under knife. onion was crying bitterly for his two friends . but after few mins he thought my both friends r gone nd i m crying for them but when i will go who will cry 4 me , as i hav no frind now. nd he requestd god to come nd help him out of this situation. when god saw him crying like this he came nd ask onion "Why r u crying ? this is the luck of all vegetables." onion said " I know god this is my destiny but u see when potato die tomato nd i cried for him.. nd when tomato died i cried for him as they both were my good friends nd i lovd them very much now when i will die who will cry for me?" his tears just meltd the heart of GOD nd god said "OK NOW FROM TODAY , ANY PERSON WHO WILL CUT U HE HIMSELF WILL CRY FOR U . AS HE START CUTTING U , HE WILL GET LOT OF TEARS IN HIS EYES". When i heard this story i came to know why we cry when we cut onion.
