Is it important to have a sexual relationship to keep up love?

Human behaviour & relationships particularly of love are very complicated & tender.It is a series of actions and activities which cannot be partitioned or fragmented into strict boundaries as to when and where aqquaintance changes to knowing each other then sharing,development of friendship and a desire to be together always which in turn may lead ultimately to love.
If the two persons entering into such relationship are of opposite sex then if everything acts favorably then the natural law of opposite attracting each other may develop and chances permitting sex may result.
But Sex is just one of the important portion of love between eligible opposite sex,a way of sharing the ultimate closeness that is not shared with anyone.
In a nutshell I 'll say that Sex though not absolutely essential for the existence of love but if Healthy sexual relations exist between a couple then sex`does give steel strength to love.
