 Aarushi Murder Mystery;the human angle

Killings, murders and assassinations in our country are not uncommon.Leaving aside the unreported cases, even the media hyped cases are as many in a year as can not be counted or remembered after some time.

Aarushi murder case is a crime which has shattered all sensible people. It is a crime which not only took away an innocent and lovely child of ours who was just preparing herself to live in this world but compelled us to bow our heads in shame the way the case was handled by police and statements that were made public against this kid of 14 years, against her father Dr.Talwar and his associate/colleague Dr. Durrani.

The people who are handling the investigation process have not come up with sufficient and compelling evidences against the accused Dr. Talwar but the statements which have been made public are shocking. If the statements which have been made hitherto regarding illicit sexual relationships of Aarushi and Hemraj, partner swapping of Durrani's and Talwars etc.turn out to be true, we need to curse and cure our ailing society infested with the sex virus which in that case would be plagueing our society without even being noticed. But if the allegations turn out to be false; shouldn't there be a penalty for the police for making such unverified and unfounded statements about people who represent an educated class of our country. Shouldn't there be a provision for compensation to Talwars, Durranis for being put to extreme mental agony and physical torture in the case of Dr. Talwar and defamation of the two families and specific persons in the society and in their immediate social circles.

Is there any greater wrong which can be done to a father than to dub him as a killer of his own daughter and allege that his daughter was having illicit sexual relations with her servant. i would like to supplicate to God Almighty that all these allegations turn out to be false.
