stray thoughts...

It's the middle of the night and I can't seem to fall asleep... 
no! no... its not because of the triple shot of espresso (black
coffee sir - it does not contain milk as is wont to be repeated 
by the guy at the coffee house sales counter) I had at 10pm. 
I do and can fall asleep even with that caffeine in me. It's 
just that I now seem unable to do so -- hmmm.. wonder why.. 
and then the stray thoughts - why do these bubble up so?
 hmmm... Rama is younger than sita by 14 yrs... And 
Balarama's wife is from a different yuga altogether - older than
him by a fair 2 lakh years... 'coz of the one single moment she
and her father spent in brahmaloka... why did they go there?
forgot why! - Why am I forgetting things??? Do I have a small
 memory foot print - that it cannot hold information any longer 
-- ooh! god! does that mean I've accumulated so much
 information?? (mind you not wisdom or knowledge - just
information) -- oops! does this mean I can no longer hold more
information or will I "forget" some to make way to other? --- 
But then to forget - is a god given gift! If we do not forget we'll
kill ourselves with the guilt of how foolish we have behaved all
those times we did -- but then can I take a management escape
route here and justify that "acted to the best of the information
on hand" -- ooh! can't do that -- justifications do not work... 

Why am I floundering in this manner?? what is the goal? No
idea... But then there is so much more to learn! what will I do...
When will I learn.. oh! there's a limit on time -- why do we see
time as linear - aah! there are many explanations, certainly there
are... do I know atleast most of them.. hey! this movie - 
Hunt for the Red October - nice movie - sean connery is really
cool in this -- Hey! the other guy who acted as james bond -
Roger Moore - liked his acting in the movie Quest - Rofl! rofl!
rofl!! - my name is bond - james bond.. 
My name is damme, van damme, claude van damme, jean claude
van damme -- rofl! rofl!! to think of how a south indian would
intro himself -- if he had to in this manner.. my cousin has a
name that fills 23 spaces - if only the initials are considered - and
then you wouldn't know his name ... no more space left... 
Why do people have such long names - may be coz if they
become famous or notorious (depends on their calling I think)
they'd have one to choose from? and yet say - of course that is
my name! But, then many famous people have such ordinary 
names! Does name play a role in helping a person become 
famous or does the name become famous ‘coz of the person 
who carries it? Yea! About that movie – what would happen if a 
nuclear sub leaked? Will any fish survive? Jack ryan – I know 
that name – hmm… from where? Executive decision! What am I 
doing writing this at 3:00 AM??? Aaah! I remember – I couldn’t 
fall asleep… and then these stray thoughts… What am I looking 
for?? at various points in time for various things... hmmm... not 
various things! for one thing at a time - but different things at 
different times! What am I looking for -- no idea! will let you 
know if I ever get to know and then of course if you are 
interested to know....
