 SILENT WHISPERS!

It was silent every where…only dancing rainy drops creating some music.
Laziness dropped in asking me to stop research work.
Suddenly found leisure period but no one is there to talk to me.
Went to window and checked what is happening outside.
Those dancing rain drops provoked me to join them.
Stretched my hands and caught some rain drops.
Body became ready to join rain and enjoy the rain drops falling on my face.
But hesitation stopped. Those people standing outside the shops may laugh.
I don’t know what they think, but that feeling stopped me to run in rain like a child.
Wished to create paper boat and keep tiny Raja and Rani toys and send them in rain river for honeymoon. Once again hesitation stopped. I think hesitation first took birth to me.
Or all others of my age also hesitate like me…I don’t know.
How lovely that childhood was.
No word like Hesitation in childhood dictionary.
How many times I participated in “marriage” games I can’t recollect.
Several times I played the mother role in “mama and papa” games.
Preparing rotis and waiting for hubby, when he comes giving water to wash his face, legs and hands, then giving towel, then when he sits on the ground placing food on a plantain leaf…ohhh so much. Those were golden days.
Huhh…with those thoughts I came inside home.
Children went on college tour. This Sashank is in Delhi on business trip.

Switched ON the computer, but already mind gave strong instructions to stop work.
So entered fropper and said hai to some friends who were available on net at that moment. Called some friend UNCLEJI, asked some other friend to keep me in his HEART and fought with some other friend on GOOD NIGHT wishes. Every one joined in the fun and made that evening a memorable one. Found my childhood days back, at least in virtual world. Felt many people like me are there who hesitate do dance in rains but play duets in the virtual world.

Even though we are miles away, I feel you are just behind my computer screen.
Your words flashed on the screen show your different emotions.
I laugh like a child whenever I see your lovely comment.
When I say this Sashank laughs and says I am 40 year old child.
But my friend…you are always ready to dance with me in rains…right.

hey even i love rains and surely minds want to just set free and unwashed of all the burdens...however i agree to u, a hesitation creeps in...unlike when we used to reciprocate to all these things so naturally....appreciating gets restricted, yet in my opinion, one should try to remain carefree..after all such showers of happiness rarely arrive in life..liked ur blog, very subtle flow of words, the style i really admire...i am glad to come here.

You are lady my friend, even gents don't want to take bath in rain publicly. Though this act is full of joy, everybody likes to relish it. That's why we always remember childhood, the best period of life.

Hi,

As we grow up, these hesitations and restrictions too catch up with us either knowingly or unknowingly and we start to live for this world slowly giving up our true nature and what all we like to do and enjoy as those thoughts just come to our mind... And daring to get back to those childhood is truly an awesome effort which most of the people don't do....
I too like to dance and play in the rain even now...

Enjoy dear friend...
