 double the trouble???

It was silent, blissfully serenely silent with the cool breeze
ruffling the waters and the leaves singing in the breeze –
well below any rock songs playing – and the sun was bright,
the sky blue and the clouds white – giving the cloud shadows; flitting across the waters gracefully as the white puffs played
with the sun. And slowly the breeze dropped, not so noticeable, but it did drop. Then there was silence, a silence that is different from the earlier one… this was dead calm, the water no longer ruffled, the clouds no longer playing – somehow the sun seemed brighter as if expecting an impending change. The atmosphere was dull, and the sun though burning as ferverently as ever,
lost its luster and the wind started picking up. The clouds grew and were no longer white fluffy puffs flitting across… they
were gray and black and trundled across the skies heavily like
the spill covering the ocean surface. The wind picked up and
the trees, leaves no longer singing, were howling as
they swayed. And with a sound level that can dwarf a few jumbos revving to takeoff – or for that matter on full reverse
to break, the water rained down… the change was very sudden and many were caught unawares… rushing into the nearby shelter…
There were these two standing there, drenched, and the
clothes semi-transparent and clinging telling their own story
and some of their owners’ in that dull, dim wet light. A flash
of lightning lit the sky and followed by two other as one of
them gave a smile that reached her eyes(1). A very bright
happy smile in that drenched place – eyes lighting as the
smile spread – just like those white puffs that sped across
the sun’s face earlier. Now, that is a smile that can set a heart racing as can standing under a tree in a downpour with
lightning raining down…
This island known for its natural beauty and isolation looked deserted under the onslaught of torrential downpour, now the trees were bending in a bid to escape the double burden of
water and wind… only the soil their friend now… and fighting
the elements all alone(2) – with only others like themselves in a raging battle. Atlast, peace returned with the some of those mighty trees losing and some winning… as for nature – the
birds and bees came out along with the sun peeping from behind the clouds as they drifted away. Was it in shame for killing those mighty trees or was it in glee for tempering down the soil and relieving it of its heat???
One of the two stranded under the tree (the one with the bright smile) started shaking the branches and playfully(3) splashing water onto the other. The squeals and peals of laughter were evident and were rivaling a wind chime(3) as the other tried to dodge and looked crossly at her playful friend (assumption).
Not at all amused… what was the point of getting angry?(4). They were drenched anyways…

God’s own country sees so many come to it, but only few make their own. And yet, there always is one who captures one, like a bird caught in a net,(5) and yet the roving eye sees too many fish in the sea… and then there is no solace to the soul…

…and on the 1st day God said “let there be light”… and somewhere after that bite off the apple and the circus that ensued – man said “let there be rules…” – and that wouldn’t sit well with so-many women – and one came up and said – “let there be more rules…” and hence double trouble!!!

So- here are those recited (recitation being a rule…) along with the questions…

You have to tag people in multiples of three only… minimum being 3 naturally.

1. What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Please no corny answers like his/her personality, we all know what we notice first :-)
2. Who- of the opposite sex- would you want to be with if you were deserted on an island?
3. What turns you on about the opposite sex?
4. What turns you off?
5. Some Froppites have their real picture on the profile and some don't but just going by their blogs/ comments/ scraps who do you think is the hottest female (male bloggers answer this) and male blogger (female blogger answer this)?

RULES:
1. Grab the nearest book you have been reading. And yes, when I say BOOK… I do NOT mean Cosmopolitan… or Playboy… or even Playgirl magazines. I am asking for words… not pics…
2. Open page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Acknowledge the person who tagged you. (rampuriwali)
6. Add the rules.

My Book: Explorers on the Moon (Part 2 of Destination Moon)

Walter: Yes, we can try.
TT: What?… yes… yes… I…. the… automatic pilot…
TT: I… Hello… Tintin here… Stop… the whistling… I’m… I’m just setting the automatic pilot… I… I… think that’s done it…
Baxter: Ah, just in time.

To tag – all the ones I know are already in the game – and so who do I tag…

Such a picturesque description, simply a delight to read….u have dealt it so differently, so distinctly....a mere game twisted into an exquisite pursuit of romanticism..awesome indeed.
