SOMETHING SO TOUCHING, THAT I HAD TO IT SHARE WITH U MY DEAR FROPPIES!

Dear Froppies - my pals and almost family,
Here's a story that is copy pasted from a forwarded email from a dear friend. He honours me by telling me that I epitomise it..!!
This is a simple and moving  story, and i thought it important enough to share with all my dear froppies...!!

The Tale of a Lizard
This is a true story from Japan.
While renovating a house, a man tore open a wall. Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls. On tearing down the wall, the man found a lizard stuck behind it, with a nail from outside lodged firmly into one of its feet. He saw this and pitied the animal. He was also quite curious because on closely scrutinizing the nail, he could guess that it was nailed to the wall ten years ago, when the house was first built! The lizard had managed to survive in this awkward, impaled position for ten long years! It wasn't an easy task living in a dark partitioned wall for that long without moving. He then wondered how this lizard survived without taking a single step - with its feet nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it did, what it ate? Suddenly, from nowhere, he saw another lizard appearing, with food in its mouth... Ahhh! The man was stunned. What kind of love was this? For the lizard that was stuck to the wall by a nail, another lizard had been feeding it for ten long years...

I was touched when I heard this story. And stopped to wonder at the relationship between them: family, friends, brothers, and sisters...As technology advances, our access to information becomes faster and faster. But the distance between human beings - is it lessening or increasing?
Remember you have come into the world because of your parents.
Never Abandon Your Loved Ones...

Point.
Technology may have increased communication but are we becoming a technology obsessed generation? And a little too lazy to do our personal bit in our own relationships?
I donno how many parents/elders/aged actually depend on their children for money. But they definitely do so for time & help.
Ditto for our own families- wife/husband children etc.
Is it enough to buy you loved ones material comforts & gizmos etc. and get redeemed of all the oligations...eg. go for a walk with your father in the morning, help your wife clear after dinner, supervise the children studies...take your old mother to marketing ?

This story is very touching, and a good lesson for all of us. I think we human beings show the same consideration, compassion and love for our fellow beings and other living creatures. This is a lesson to all of us, supposedly higher living entities. Thanks GOWRI for sharing this true/untrue story with us. One should be like swan that takes milk and leaves water.

C'mon guys, this is a mere story like from Easop's tales or Panchatantra, where characters whether human or animal speak to each other (highly improbable isn't it?), look at the moral of the story that mother's love is all encompassing and would go to any extent, why start a debate particularly on personal level?

Who cares its a real story or not? Either appreciate it or let go. Period.

Gowri look at the things in a mature way and forget praise or criticism coming from a friend or foe.
