 Diseases of ample

Diseases of ample
In today’s fast paced life every one is earning as much he/she can at what cost they themselves cant fathom, accumulating all the materialistic gadgets to fill up the void
inside. The latest being, cell phones, each one of us has a cell phone and the reason is, it enables us to be connected, but connected with whom? as when we are together with family or friends we prefer talking to some one else on the cell, rather than to talk amongst ourselves , we thank the unknown sender for the heart warming SMS but we ignore the heart touching smile from a known person close to us.
The capacity to spend depends on how much we earn , We earn tirelessly and spend mindlessly, so not many things are beyond our reach and we believe in getting worth of every penny. This display of our, power to spend, is seen in the kind of life style we lead, flashy cars, latest mobiles, huge mansion like houses, member of each and every prestigious club in town , getting top position in the company ,the list is endless…… we get engrossed in fulfilling our materialistic desires and don’t get time to enjoy the finer things of life, we become complacent about showering love on our loved ones ,because we take them for granted that they will be around always.
Once we gain what we aimed for, then suddenly all this seem to create clutter in our lives and we get fed up of this extravagant life style.
The biggest irony is that we put so much on stake for such pleasures which we ourselves never got the time to enjoy it.
This is a disease of plenty, its high time we got rid of this disease which has taken a form of an epidemic, engulfing our lives.
Life is not in these pleasures it’s in the life around us, family, friends, nature and people, cant we stop for a moment and retrospect our lives and feel the beauty of being alive?
How many times do we stop to smell a flower? How many times do we get drenched in rain? How many times do we hug our children? How many times do we do something for others unconditionally? Think over it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I mean to say Vikki is that during the process of money making we forget to experience so many things which may be small but have great value in enhancing the quality of life . like you said drenching in rain ,hugging a child so many other things likewise ! I hope I am clear to you now ???

Man is chasing a mirage. All man made objects which serve him and provide comfort will ultimately cause pain as well only. Only God made nature is perfect but gradually dying. Believe in God made men and love one another. That is the only way.

i agree, uninmously to everything that is written up there. yes we have been running after the materialistic pursuits and forgetting the living hearts and souls that ought to be important.
i believe i cannot add anything more to all that is written above except something that i have learned through the experiences of life that MONEY IS NOT REAL,YOU ARE!!!
