TIME is precious..! Whether we are making use of it....!!!

What is time....? - the shadow on the dial,  - the striking of the clock,  - the running of the sand,  - day and night,  - summer and winter, - months, years, centuries....?  These are but arbitrary and outward signs,  - the measure of time, not time itself.  Time is the life of the soul.

The time which we have at our disposal every day is elastic; the passions that we feel expand it, those that we inspire contract it; and habit fills up what remains.

The actual working time of a single day is short, and often many things contemplated and planned for a given day must be postponed.  Get a right sense of life's values.  Learn to give your thought first to essential things, so that useless trifles will not so easily consume your time.

We can only waste the passing moment.  We cannot waste tomorrow; it is kept for us.  Look not mournfully into the past; it comes not back again.  Wisely improve the present; it is yours.  Go forward to meet the shadowy future without fear, and with a manly heart.

Beware how you kill time, for all your future lives in it.  Each new day ushers in new opportunities but whether we are elevated by them or not depends on how we allot the golden mements of time.

Waste no time on trifles and non-essentials.  The daily squandering of a few minutes amounts in a year to many hours.  What principally differentiates the highly successful man from others is his discriminating use of time.

Punctuality should be made not only a point of courtesy but a point of conscience.  Time is running a race with you.  Delay means defeat, because no man may ever make up a second of lost Time.  Time is a master worker which heals the wounds of failure and disappointment and rights all wrongs and turns all mistakes into capital, but, it favors only those who kill off procrastination and remain in Action when decisions are to be made.

Promptness is the mother of confidence.  "Better late than never" is not half so good a maxim as "Better never late".  Time is the wisest counsellor.

Time is both common and rare; we either have too much or too little.  None of us believe we use it as well as we should.  Time is not a common luxury at all - but a rare and valuable gem.

Without Time nothing is possible.  Everything requires Time.  Time is the only permanent and absolute ruler in the Universe.  Time is the one great leveller.  Everyone has the same amount to spend everyday.  Time makes more converts than reason.

The ticking of the clock is one of the most important things in the world, it marks the passage of time.  It reminds us that another second, another hour, another day has gone.  "There is plenty of time," we tell ourselves.   That is the great fallacy

We should respect the value of others' time and not contribute to its waste in idle gossip.  Use your time wisely.  Don't be a timewaster; use it for self-improvement, use it to broaden your horizons.  Time is a great legalizer, even in the field of morals.

Timeliness is the weapon of the worldly wise and the stumbling block of the fool.  A fraction of a second between the pulling of two triggers makes the difference between life and death.  After you know the "What" and the "How" in anything, you still must learn the "When".  The right thing, done at the wrong time, is the wrong thing to do.

Life is a great checker-board.   The player opposite you is Time. If you hesitate you will be wiped off the board.   If you keep moving you may win.   You may be shocked if you keep accurate account of the Time you waste in a single day.  Time cannot be expanded, accumulated, mortgaged, hastened or retarded.

Time has no division to mark its passage, there is never a thunderstorm or a blare of trumpets to announce the beginning of a new month or year.  Even when a new century begins, it is only we mortals who ring bells and fire crackers.

We get so concerned with the urgent, we never have time to deal with the important.
Know the true value of time; snatch, seize and enjoy every moment of it.  No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination; never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
