FASTEST TRAIN
Its diffivult to Imagine what an Engineer can Imagine. Here is an example..
Just imagine, there is a tunnel from Delhi to Mumbai, which is perfectly straight i.e not following the earth curvature.
Like shown in figure. two lines shows the Tunnel which is straight. and not following earth curvature. when you will look from one end of tunnel you will see slope.
Suppose ther is no air resistance and friction working in tunnel. there is no engine to a train. so, when a break is realeased due to slope , train will start. what do you think, will train reach other end? how much time will it need to go from mumbai to delhi?
How much time it will need from Mumbai to Moscow?
