" Over a cup of tea "

                              " If you blindly follow a person or a belief, and easily get hurt, then you need not read this. I do'nt intend to hurt anyone. I am writing this because I am an Indian and, for some time I am feeling that someone has to take the initiative. And that someone is me."
                           Ashutosh.

                     The monk had just returned from his morning walk and was waiting for his first cup of tea. He could make out that Lopamudra was in the kitchen. The monk was agitated. Lopamudra had told him about the recent developments in India and he was waiting for her to further discuss the issue.
                               Lopamudra appeared with the tea things.She threw a quick glance at the monk.Frown was still there.' So I got him where he should be'. She offered him his cup and said;
                               " Shall I begin now" ?
                               " Yeah , the monk said ! When exactly you came to know about it?When did your uncle paid a visit to you?"
                               " My uncle came to me when you were away in the woods."
                               " And what exactly he told you, Devi !"
                               " Well, he asked me to do certain Pranayaams,Mudraas and Asanas. He handed me a few CDs also. He promised me to issue me a certificate so that I could be appointed as a trainer and.......?"
                               " And what"?
                               " And he also promised to put forward your name for the official retailer of his divine medicines if you could organize a huge public meeting to be addressed by the 'Master'.But that could be as costly as Rs 50 Lacs."
                               " Rs 50 Lacs?" The monk frowned!
                               " My ancestors never charged even an iota for spiritual seekers."
                               " But time is money, my uncle says."
                               " Divine mother, The monk seemed to be in a franzy of entreaty; You know every thing, you are the controller of the universe.Why not just punish them?"
                               Lopamudra closed her eyes as though in a trance.She remained so for a while and then said;
                              " My Lord, I am not a teacher.I have already appointed secret agents who keep an eye on such developments and do the necessary. In the past also, such clumsy things have been done in the name of religion.But this time they are hitting the nail on it's head. I want you to deal with this situation and take necessary action."
                              " But you keep telling me that even the top class civil servants and chief-ministers are sittting at their feet?What action could I take? After all I am not the King of India?"
                             " I am not asking you to maintain law and order.I am just asking you to tell the masses that they are not doing the right thing.Tell them that spirituality can't be bought in a market place.And the rest I want from your mouth, my Son."
                            Lopamudra opened her eyes and found the monk at her feet. "Oh my Lord", she exclaimed; What I have done?"
                            The monk got up and took his chair.
                           " You were not here, Sweety, and I found my opportunity to touch your feet. Well, now I am enlightened and do the necessary."
                           " Fine, my Lord. Shall I take the notes?"
                           " Yes ! Take the notes and then get the draught published at Fropper so that they can read the same and thus the messege would reach where it must reach."
                           When Lopamudra came back, she found the monk in a trance.She touched the feet of the monk and took her chair. Now she was ready to take the notes.
                          " Can you drop dead on my say so?"
                          " No my Lord. Death is an evolution."
                          " Can you digest your food?"
                          " No my Lord. There is a system for digestion."
                          " Can this mango tree produce fruits merely on my say so?"
                          " No my Lord. That's an evolution too."
                          " Can you stop breathing on my say so and can you fall into sleep at will?"
                          " No my Lord. I will die if I stop breathing and sleep comes when one is sleepy."
                          " Similarly, Pranayaams and Mudraas can not be done as they are teaching.Pranayaam and Mudra were not invented by a scientist. They are 'Swayambhoo'. They appeared,during meditation,when the yogi was prepared to go further on. They appeared as a torch in the darkness to show the path to the seeker. When a yogi keeps meditating, the entire nervous system,that is, Nadi-Tantra, gets purified.The yogi feels anti-gravitation and his hands rise up in different Pranayaams and mudraas. The different Asanaas also folllow.And all this happens on it's own. Here no volition is involved. These things happen in a state of no mind,that is, Nirvichaar Chaitanya.Pranayaam and Mudraas are evolution and not volition. Then the various Pranayaams give an inkling to the advanced stages of the yogi. Not every type of Pranayaam can come to the beginer. And the same is true with the Mudraas and the Asanaas."
                            The monk needed a pause.Lopamudraa looked satisfied.
                            " The masses are ignorant.They do'nt know what anti-gravitaion is. By taking advantage of mass ignorance,these modern teachers can bring havoc to India's ancient glory and knowledge.Soon the masses would start taking pride in these things and a false sense of spirituality would jeopardise the innocense of the religion.They are trying to do marketing of spirituality and making huge booty.The masses must understand that Pranayaam and Mudraas come as sleep comes.You can buy a nice double bed, but you just can't buy sleep for you. You can buy the best food,but what about your hunger?So my messege is -- just sit and do nothing.Try to be in a state of thoughtlessness.Slowly your thoughts would calm down and the rest is a matter of time."
                                " But what is the harm even if they keep on doing these things?"
                                By keeping on, they would encourage the wrong people to continue with their ugly and uncouth schemes.By keeping on, they would embark upon a wrong path that would get them nowhere.And slowly,with the passage of time, ancient knowledge of the Vedas and the Shruti would disappear. In the past also, clumsy things have been done in the name of religion,but right now they are insisting on Pranayaam.Believe me my Priya, nothing would come out of it.They are wasting their time and money to utter disappointment.They do'nt know what kind of a hell they are walking into."
                            " So what the masses should do?"
                            " They must avoid heards mentality." I can go on speaking and you can go on taking notes.But enough for now.You get this draft published and we would wait for a reaction,if any! And by the way, What is name of your uncle?"
                             " Chacha Shyamdeva." Lopamudra replied and got up. Now she had to post her blog on the Fropper.But she did not hasitate to make some additions to the draught. She added thus;
                            " The politicians are shrewed.They know right timing is everything in politics.So they encourage such clumsy things to their own advantage and vested interest.The civil servants are no better than The British clerks, or otherwise they would'nt have been servants.But the masses,the poor masses,must avoid heards mentality and the media must not fan such things for their TRPs.The govt. must keep an eye on the Bank accounts of such uncles and impose heavy taxation on the huge booty thus stolen ."

You are absolutely right in this post.
Today , evrything is saleable item in market, whether its religion, or things realted wth relagion.
Offcourse, mediataion can not be purchased from market.Its true, that Pranayam and Mudras are evolved not created by practise, as many preacher claimed in their sessions. One cant buy nice sleep for him, similarly hunger cant be sold wth tempting food.These are urged, and evolved inside one's heart and wishes, these cant be imposed on any one.
SO hats off to you , for sharing so nice nd wonderfull thoughts in nice and interesting ways.

I'm myself a spiritual seeker and propagator of RADICAL SPIRITUALITY as against the commercialised versions.Your Blog is definitely trying to say that don't fall prey to the hype and hippocracy of the market place "spiRICHuality !!!

My spirituality is a way of LIFE and devoid of avoidable Mudras ,Asanas & Pranayama etc.I've my own structured Meditation , known as SMM (silencing mind meditation). I believe in YOGAHA KARMASU KAUSHALAM , enunciated in GEETHA.
Death < Sleep & even Marketing HAPPEN. U can only create an environ for them to happen.
Doing KAPALBHATI ,YOGASANAS etc are volutary and do them if U are healthy!!!
Spirituality is LIVING in HUMAN SPIRIT in TUNE with NATUE truely ,Honestly & with Character !!!
It should be "HERD" mentality !!
A blog which must tickle the neurons in young minds and direct them on RIGHT path, though expressed in around about way!!!!
