DoubleS said: The end result seems it will help the country in energy problems. Gandhiji said means will jutify the ends. This could not be an example. The curse is we should have coalition. It is a different story in the west where coalition constituents do not lose their country's good; here it is individual's development, because if the 'individuals' develop the country develop. The individuals are from Panchayat Board members to President of India! It is not democracy but hypocrisy.Like Laluji said everybody(coalition constituents) wants to be PM. That is why everybody is in the well of the (House) Parliament instead of outside the well to rescue the fallen frogs.Coalition will rend the country. 2-Party democracy is only good. What is the difference between tweedledee and tweedledum. I appeal to the people not to vote for one-day-one prime minister to save the country from receding to the past. July 26, '08 |

SPIRITUALS said: This is an epoch making victory to our Democracratic pattern and also for the country !!!I CONGRATULATE our mature and unassuming PM , on his grit and self- confidence in seeking the trust vote. The debate on the motion revealed a host of issues which did not meet the eyes , till then. The vitcory is for the fair democratic process and a defeat of the forces of political opportunism. The UPA got rid of LEFT - now left in lurch - better late than never!!! The LEFT for the FIRST time in our history , tasted blood by becoming partners in ruling the country , grew out of proportions with swollen ego d blackmailing the govt on key issues. At least now the govt can implement progressive policies sans their unreasonable and illogical hurdles. Moreover , the debate spurred some conscientious MPs to cross vote boldly and send the scheming opposition to ICU for emergency treatment !!! King-Bulls-Ring said: Srian, Of course, both. Both are facing next elections and want to finish this before they go for elections a feather in their cap, to use as a campaign tool. Again, in both countries, people know least on what the deal is all about and why it has to be signed? One thing is clear, for India, it is opening up our civilian N-stations for so-called 'inspections by IAEA' and in turn we get latest technology and fuel, so we can build more N-power stations. We have the capability to build N-stations and we want is latest technology to build 'safer' power plants and we need 'safer' fuel. As we are not spending in R&D as much as the west, why not we utilize their results to ur benefits? Its win-win for both countries and we stand tall in front of other like-nations, as we refused to sign the NPT. Don't forget, its our stubbornness on this issue, made the US to draft a separate deal only for us. July 24, '08 |
