I feel as if I had written this wonderful and humourous and so realistic post! This is the nature of people like the Krishnans, not only in your vicinity but all over the world, this is how supersitious Indian people are, believe me,living in South Africa, sometimes I want to grind my teeth in frustration lol! You name it, people will do it, as they feel one has to ward of evil, if anything happens its due to bad forces! I have met so many Krishnans in my life and I just shake my head in awe at their explanations and stories and their need to perform certain pooja's and certain havans all in the name of bad luck not befalling! One would think that in this day and age one's mentality and level of thinking would reach a higher level, alas they will never change, we will always find Krishnans around! Great post! ![]() August 14, '08 |

It is logic that prevails in the end so do not panic. ![]() August 13, '08 |

An entire training methodology has been developed around this - Appreciative Inquiry. Maybe you want to suggest me as the pundit. Instead of puja, I'll do an AI workshop, and we all will live happily ever after..... August 12, '08 |

Than me..... will you beleive it, after my wife died, my best friend has adviced me not come to his house since his DAD has given him instructions....... and worse still he is quite educated and working in USA.... and I've seen this behaviour in my family.... why blame friends..... Religion, superstitions are somehow one thing which is making India lag behind....... If not we would have been superpowers LONG ago August 11, '08 |
