Bat out of hell....

There was a time when living like an animal had a derogatory connotation! But looking at the kind of privileges animals have, I think living like human beings is derogatory! I mean, really, there are the likes of Menaka Gandhi and PETA guys who would are quite capable of even sensing if you are so much as thinking about hurting a rat. And they'll nail you for it. Call it their animal instinct! And there might be people getting killed, women getting raped but no one would even care about it.

Anyway, I have a friend who's down from Kent... she works with the local government in the department that takes care of old people's shelter homes. So, they construct old age homes and relocate destitute poor dear olds. A couple of months back they were working on a project, where the construction site had two bats living. Guess what the company had to do. They had to call specialists to get the bats out and find them another home before going ahead with the shelter home idea! And they spent a whopping ₤ 100,000 on the entire process. FOR 2 BATS!

And, well, if someone finds this shocking, there's more... if a construction company there is found guilty of killing bats, the CEO gets imprisoned and the term could go up to 6 months, so obviously it makes sense to shell out the money. And this law has been implemented for the reason that construction companies don't go on a bat killing spree on their site!

Not only do animals have more privileges than Man today. The so called Animal lovers and activists do not love human beings but claim to love animals. I have seen many such instances when people talk endearingly to their pets but do not treat humans eith the basic courtesy they deserve. Maybe we in fropper should get together and start a "Society for the Prevention of cruelty to Humans" (SPCH) Nice post.
