 Khali dibba khali botal

Khali dibba khali botal lele mere yaar
Khali se mat nafrat kar khali yeh sansaar.

I was reminded of this song from the old movie NeelKamal after receiving a profound .pps presentation in mail. (Why can’t we upload and share .pps files on Froppers ?).

The .pps mail in brief.

Hoarding useless objects, thinking that one day you may need them.
Accumulating money , and not spending it because you think that in the future you may want for it.
Storing clothes, shoes, furniture, utensils and other items.

These clutter up your living space.

When we store for future, we give in to the possibility of wanting, of penury and that tomorrow may not be as good as today.
Two messages are thus sent to the brain tomorrow is uncertain and the new and the better is unachievable.

Keeping reproaches, resentment, sadness, fears inside yourself clutters up your mind.
The attitude of keeping a heap of useless stuff / feelings ties your life down.
It’s not the objects/ideas you keep that stagnate your life.....but rather the attitude of keeping...

The force of this emptiness is one that will absorb and attract all that you wish.

Make space. Respect emptiness.

The idea appealed to me and is basically sound. I share with you here a trivia on emptiness from quantum physics:

There is so much empty space (emptiness) inside matter (atoms, molecules) that the entire human race could be squeezed into the volume of a sugar cube.

It is unbelievable, but true!

Source: The Quantum Zoo: A Tourist's Guide to the Neverending Universe by Marcus Chown

One of the towering achievement of modern physics is quantum theory which has enabled us to understand the physical reality in a remarkable and unprecedented manner. "If the empty space in atoms were removed, the entire human race would fit in the volume of a sugar cube" - this humorously presented fact points to the overwhelmingly integrated emptiness in our physical world from scientific point of view.

Emptiness embedded in this creation is something about which ancient mystics and sages talked about hundreds and thousands of years earlier in the language of metaphysics. Buddha discoursed about Emptiness of Reality (empty of inherent existence). It has become one of the central doctrine of Buddhism. Off course the mystics, sages and Buddha - all were addressing the emptiness of not only matter, but beyond as well.

Give it a thought and share your views.

Thanks every body for putting in your opinion or visiting and giving it a read.

I will add just one more thougt provoking one liner........koshika brahmandam, brahmanda koshikam, to this pot pourri of science, common sense, myth and philosophy.

More of this some other time..........let the Big Bang bring out some concrete results.

Yes !!' there r stii many things r to b known, through the ' Big Bang ' Experiments,

Conversation of Physical Dimensions ,in to other dimensions of , other energy will b soon possible,

N I agree with u , that in that condition ,the entire human race could be squeezed into the volume of a sugar cube.

Not only that.., Matter, n human beings will also b able to b transmitted, as heat is transmitted in form of Light Energy..,

Thanks for sharing, such a nice blog.
