LIVING FOR LOVE

Six   long months  after  the  death of  Aditya .


Days  were  like  an  unending nightmare  for  Savi. Those  horror  filled  and  violent incidents  were  deeply  etched  in  her  mind. However hard  she  tried  to  forget them  they  never would  go  out  of  her  mind .The  deafening  sound  of  the  explosion , the blood soaked body  of  Adi , his  slumping  down  in  her  arms  , everything were so  fresh  in  her  mind .During  night  she  would  suddenly  wake  up ,  her  body  trembling  and  soaked  with perspiration . She  didnt  know  what  to do . Her whole  world  was  shattered  in  bits  and pieces , she  tried  hard  to collect  those pieces and  build  something  out  of them , but then .... !!

She  lost any  interest in  her  life   .She  was  like  a living  corpse . She  had  put  on a lot  of  weight , she  didnt  care  for  her looks ,her hair  was  unkempt  and  dishevelled , dark  circles around  her  eyes , no  body  would  say that she  is  the  same Savi  who  used  to be  so cheerful ,vibrant and  full of  life !She   was  a living ghost of old Savi. .

She  used  to visit the  sea beach some  times , sit  there on  the same  spot , where both  of  them  were together  for the  last  time , watch  the waves striking  fiercely against  the  rocks , misty water drops would advance towards her  like fog and wet her , she  felt  some  solace with  the  cool touch  of   the fog , as  if Adi  was  also inside  it and  would  come  out  of  it  anytime and  take  her in  his  arms  !!


On one  such  occasion of  her  visit  to the  beach ..

That day she  was quite  depressed , there was  some tiff with her boss at  the  office  . She  didnt  feel well and  left  her  office  a  bit  early and  went  straight to  the  beach !It  was a very  clear  day .She  was sitting  on  the  same  spot .Sun was  quite  bright .The  sunrays  penetrated the misty  water  drops and the  reflection  of  the  rays  against  the  water  drops formed  a small rainbow !It was a fascinating  sight ! Savi  was  deep immersed  in this  wonder of   nature ,she  was lost in  it. She  was  mesmerised  by  the  amazing  sight  of  the colourful  rainbow , and she  felt as if  there was some human figure inside . She  went  a  bit closer  and  my  God , she saw the  figure  was none other  than  Adi ! He    looked  exactly the  same as he  looked  when  they  met  for  the  last  time . But tears were rolling  down his  eyes . He  beckoned her to come  closer , his  lips  were quivering  as  if  he  wanted  to  say  something !
Savi  could not  hold herself  and ran towards  him shouting  "ADI . Adi , look what you  have  done  to  me! I am  dying  everyday love !Please  take  me  along  with  you, I cant live  without  you  !!! Adi where  are  you  ??? "
"Savi ,listen  to  me " she  felt as if  he said in whispers but  still clear  enough to be  audible "You dont  die love , you have to live , for  my  sake Savi , do u want  me to weep and  weep ??"

"No Adi you know I  have  always  wanted  you to be  happy , tell me  what  should I  do for your everlasting  smile ?? "

"See what you  have  done  to yourself , would I ever  be
  happy?Gather  yourself Savi, live  your life , as you used  to with  me , my smile  will be  back  !! "and then  there was a gush  of  air through  the  mist and  the  figure disappeared  with it !

But the  sound  was still reverberating  in her  ears " Gather  yourself ,gather  yourself ,gather  yourself ...my  smile will be  back , my  smile  will be  back  !! "She  ran towards  the mist  to catch  hold  of  him but there  was  nothing  except  the water  drops  which  completely  drenched  her and  the  empty  sound  of  waves lashing  against  the  rock  !! 

She  stood  stand  still for  a moment , and  then  climbed  down  the rock , the whispering  sound  of  Adi still in her  ears .She looked  up  and started shouting at the top of her  voice so  as  to  make  him listen ,
"Yes  Adi I will live  for  you love ! I will do  anything  for your precious  smile !"

From  that  day onwards  she started gathering the  bits  and  pieces  from   her shattered  life . She  has  the  hope  of  seeing  again the  precious  smile on her precious  Adi's  lips.


Savi's  is  living  for  her  love  !!!!!!



P.S.  This  story  is  dedicated  to the  real  life  Savi, who  is  the  epitome  of  courage  and will power and  leading her life as  normally  as  anyone  now  !! My  hats  off  to  her !!!!!!!



                                              EPILOGUE                                     
25th Sept.2008 .
The biggest achievement , tribute , apllause whatever you may  call for  my blog was when I received a call from  non other  than the real  life Savi. I  am in her  contact since  my relationship  days  in fropper.She  has  been following  all my blogs as  non-member of  fropper from outside. She related with  my character fully and she said she  is  now a changed person !As Savi in my  story took a  resolve to live  for her  love , SHE  too will do the  same !!

May God  give  her  all the  courage , determination and will to lead  her life with  a new  resolve and hopes for a better to -morrow !!!
