Raj Thackeray. What more can I say?

>> Click here to view original post

Gosh, it seems like Raj Thackeray-bashing is becoming the most important one-point agenda for me. I'm always only writing about him. But I can't help it! Whenever I read his interview or any report, I feel like either smashing his head or my PC monitor... and both are unhealthy options, so there....

Read the article about his chat with the members of a website. Some highlights...

In Maharashtra politicians think of their own constituencies, not the entire state.
The pot is calling kettle black! A man who thinks only about the Marathi manoos and not "outsiders" should be blaming other politicians.

Give me power and I’ll fix everyone and everything using the language each one best understands.
And he speaks and understands only the language of goondaism and violence. So, you know what that remark means.

I’ve done so much without power. Give me power once and I’ll show the results. I can assure you Maharashtra will benefit (if I become CM).
Basically, if he gets power the rioters and ransackers would never be brought to book and there will be more violence because he will make it legal. By Maharashtra will benefit he only means Maharashtrians.

I’d not like to club icons like Ratan Tata and Sachin Tendulkar in the category of common people. They belong to the entire country and so they are beyond all this.

It's just a matter of convenience actually. If Tata got to open the plant here, Raj would have made sure he employed only Marathis (irrespective of whether they are qualified or not), failing which Tata would be a common man too and there would be agitations against him as well. Just shows Raj's selfishness; people who can be made good use of are not outsiders. And Amitabh Bachchan is among the common people.

Outsiders are deciding our future. Who has given them this right?
Looks like someone forgot to read the basic, Constitutional rights of Indian citizens.

And no outsider is scared of Marathis, by the way, because Marathis are not monsters that need to be feared and they are NOT fanatic fools like the MNS!

Hi Novocaine, Your thoughts are exactly like mine on Raj and how much I wish people see thro his petty goals and grow. He sends his child to English medium and want the Maharashtrians to advocate Marathi and fight for his personal goals. Is he ready to send his son to the forefront to get the lathis of police ? Is he ready to stop his parties with the page three groups ? Unfortunately his goons are uneducated lot who without thinking of these questions are ready to be violent and pay a heavy price. Anyways what was Raj's contribution to Maharshtra and Maharashtrians ?Except that he made filthy lot of money. As an individual his credentials are very near to zero with no personal achievemnets. He is not even trustworthy having ditched his uncle and do u think he would be loyal to Marathi manoos ? It really sucks when the impotent politicians are mute witnesses to his excesses and punish poor people for petty crimes when such goons run amock with third rate preachings.

Surely the Maharashtrians also realise this and are able to see through both the Thackerays? Isn't that why the Shiv Sena, inspite of being around for so long as had very little time in Mantralaya?
