DROOL-WORTHY curves, rippling muscles and washboard abs. These seem to be the must-haves for any star to make it big in Bollywood. But how do they do it? We got two celebrity fitness experts to divulge the fitness secrets of 10 stars with the hottest bods in Bollywood.

The gurus: Mickey Mehta, India’s leading holistic health guru with an impressive list of celebrity clientèle including, industrialist Anil Ambani, actors Aftab Shivdasani, Tanushree Dutta and model Shamita Singha. And Prashant Sawant made it possible for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s six packs in the movie Om Shanti Om!

Hrithik Roshan

Mickey: He has a fabulous upper body. His shoulders are well-built. Broad, well-toned and well muscled. He has the perfect amount of muscle for his height and body structure.

Hrithik concentrates on toning his shoulders, chest, arms and abs. There are various upper body exercises and it is difficult to say what he is doing right now. But from the look of his body it is hardcore upper-body workouts. He is also known to drink at least four bottles of water everyday.

Akshay Kumar

Mickey: Akshay isn’t all muscles. He has a lean, fit and shapely body. He is tall and his legs are the best part of his body. Well shaped and agile.

Akshay Kumar plays basketball thrice a week to stay fit. He also walks and treks to stay fit and keep his stamina up. Akshay is now into the natural way of staying fit and hence these methods.

Fitness nugget: Walk your way to bliss.

Shah Rukh Khan

Mickey: His upper body is the best part of him. He has developed it perfectly. The sculpted six-pack abs is a superb feat, especially at his age, over 40.

Prashant: I like Shah Rukh’s abs. While I was training him, I realised that he has high endurance levels. In fact, when working out with him, I used to finish his workout in 30 minutes. Shah Rukh does a lot of endurance training, weight lifting, cardiovascular exercises etc. I had included football and cricket in his workout to keep his flexibility levels up.

He eats healthy and eats well. He eats a combination of diet food, proteins and takes his vitamins on time. He makes sure that he gets his protein in the form of chicken.

Fitness nugget: Supplement your diet.

John Abraham

Mickey: John Abraham’s whole body has an appeal. His abs though is the best part of him.

Prashant: John alternates between cardiovascular and weight training with a lot of emphasis on his abs.

Salman Khan

Prashant: His biceps, triceps and killer abs.

Fitness routine: Salman does cardiovascular exercises and works out on his abs to keep them as shapely as they are. Crunches and pull ups are what give him his perfect abs.

Fitness nugget: From flab to fab — no gym needed!

Bipasha Basu

Mickey: Bipasha is top heavy but the rest of her body is well toned. I cannot tell you which the best part of her body is because the overall package is terrific.

Prashant: She has a very good upper body and abs. She is broad and works that to her advantage.

Bipasha Basu does a combination of cardiovascular exercises and weight training.

Mickey: If you want to get a body like Bipasha’s, a combination of weight training, treadmill and cycling is the best solution.

Kareena Kapoor

Mickey: I think Kareena’s overall body is perfect because her whole body looks well-toned and refined.

Prashant: I like Kareena’s waistline and legs. She has a slender waist and she has worked extra hard to lose every ounce of flab on her body.

Mickey: Kareena has lost a lot of weight the yoga way. It is a holistic way to lose weight and achieve a balance of body and mind.
