What Does Beauty Mean?

Beauty is a quality or a feature that is pleasing to the senses, especially to the eye. With regards to men and women, beauty is a largely superficial aspect; a beautiful woman generally has a face that conforms to universally accepted norms of beauty in terms of structure and quality. Still, the old saying holds true, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

Beauty is a characteristic generally linked with an in-built and emotional insight into life's positive and significant areas related to things as we perceive them. For example, happiness, love etc. When one sees beauty in something, it means that he interprets things to be in equilibrium and in accord with the natural world, which leads to a feeling of pleasure and happiness.

Well said.If I be permitted I would like to sum up beauty like this:-GOD HAS GIFTED US 4 GEMS-TRUTH,GOODNESS,LOVE AND BEAUTY.Now these 4 Gems play a very important role in our day to day life,our culture,our religion and our tradition besides scriptures and writings.God has created us all is the Truth and it His Goodness that we all are gifted with comforts and happy life.Love is the gift that bind us all irrespective of caste,creed,religion and any other barrier.Love is also the Truth that takes us to the releams of joys and longings in earthly life and spiritual life and take us close to the cretor.Now BEAUTY is the total sum of Truth Goodness and Love which is the culmiating point in our life,our prayers to the Almighty,our love for Nature(Which is Godmanifested),and human nature.BEAUTY is the pinnacle of all longings and jous and all other related discourses of life.If we are through the first 3 beauty takes us to CREATOR for salvation.Thank you all.
