 A Man called MAMU...PART 2

meeting him quite a time as i said made me know him well enough. Born to a middle class family in Hyderabad along with other 10 siblings. Four of which 2 are younger sisters to him and 2 are elder and rest are all elder brothers. Out of eleven he is survived now by 4 younger sis and two elder bros and mom.  Dad passed away when he was barely 21 and rest of the brothers passed away as the time passed ( i didnt asked him the reasons for their deaths, but will ask him one day) Mom is a big time heart patience with two heart strokes in her bounty already but is still going strong.
I dont know her age but as per my knowledge ealrier people used to get married at the age of 13 or 14 ( my mom's too married at the age of 15 :) ).

When he was 9, his father got some heart complications and in that course was also hit by diabetics. His father was a tehcnical person as said by mamu and was running a small workshop in his residing area. Due to the complications and laziness and look at our ownself attitude of his elder brother he had to quit his studies ( of which he was not even interested he says) and start working in the workshop.  Due to the illness he requested his father not to work but only cum to the workshop and sit and have a look of the work going around. The best part is Mamu blames himself for his dad's death of which i dont think he is  " He would have been lived few years more if i would have asked him to work a bit. His idleness let him to think more about my future and the death of my elder son put him more in to darkness" this is what he replied to me on me raising the question of his father's death. He literally cried when he answered me. For a while i thought whether am i doing rit in asking him about his life, but his talks kept my thoughts to myself.

He knew he has more responsibility now and had to give an extra efforts to get his sisters married. by the course of time in his dad's presence he had already married his two sisters and also mamu got married with the earnings from his small workshop. But i guess God has some other plans for him and wanted him to do something extra for which he got prepared mentally. On 7th feb 1983, at the age of 36 he got airborne to Kingdom Of  Saudi Arabia ( during that time kingdom was very strict in rules and regualtions and had only desserts) theres a famous saying in hindi " NA ADAM NA ADAM KI ZHAATH"  it was same like this ...infact in sum places u do have same kind of scenario nowadays too.....

to be continued.....
