 The Crocodile

Love and affection
And the word adore
Beautiful like a mirage
Evasive to the core
Progress curtailing
Demeaning more and more
Tempting to commit
Rises like the bore
Shaken and hurt
Crumbles to the floor
Stubborn to win over
Finding ways a crore
Starts all over again
Bending down to implore
‘Man’, never knows
What you have in store
Clinched under the teeth
Struggles with blisters sore
None the theories and
Facts that we pour
Can ever tell when, U
Would melt as in lore
To save the bleeding pachyderm
That wails at your door
Wiser than all other
Tender and pure
Save him of the crocodile
Unending passions, its for sure.
