Reptile Part 2

One month has passed since Suman left Delhi and settled in this Santhal village in Jharkhand. His school friend Ramesh Sharma has been staying here alone for 20 years and runs a tribal school.
The place is in the forest, the ppl. are very simple and friendly. Apart from Ramesh, 2 other local men, who passed School Final exam, starting their education from Ramesh's school, are also teaching. Suman takes causal classes on Math. After school hours, two friends go for a walk in the forest and returns before sun set. Ramesh often insists Suman on going back to Rupa. Ramesh says, "You should go back. Rupa is alone there for a long time". Suman says, " Atleast Rupa Roy is never alone. She is surrounded by her admierers and lovers all day." He continues," Rupa"s attraction is irresistable. I know well, she does not love me. She treats me as one of her admierers. She confessed, she does not love any man. She does not know how to love. But I have burnt my wings like an insect in her fire of beauty. I have no way to come out. In fact, I have kissed a reptile. The reptile has wrapped me head to toe. I burn in the fire of poison. But I have to stay with her. I can not exist without Rupa. I live for her, I shall die for her. She said, she will release me if I want. Now I shall go to her and surrender myself to Rupa Roy".

Next morning Suman caught the train for Delhi. The train left the station. Ramesh was standing alone in the platform.


Suman is a hero in real life. Unlike filmy heros, he did not cut the head of reptile by his sword. In stead he acted like an anti hero. He surrendered to the reptile. This happens in reality.

I am sorry, my hero did not get any clap from the audience.
