Beware of SPAM

The nature of social networking site  is such that any one can be a friend without revealing his or her true identity.  That is why this is a target ground to lure unsuspecting members for the fleecing and looting.  This crime is called crime by pursuation.  Generally the people are from Nigeria, Africa.  So it is also called Nigerian Scam.

The only deterrent is awareness.  So I thought, why not write a blog and give discovered zone names.  Since the site has to do a lot of time consuming investigation after it is reported.  In the mean time some unsuspecting members fall pray to the temtations offered by such scammers.

Hence giving my experience with the spam.

I am giving below the list of such zones I discovered on Fropper.

Their way of operaton is very neat.

Generally a female member will approach a male member, either through SCRAP or will send a message giving her email id and imploring him to send an email assuring him that it will be some thing good.

my late father's statement of account and death certificate here with me which i will send to you latter,because when he was alive he deposited some amount of money in a leading Bank in europe which he used my name as the next of kin,the amount in question is $6.5M (Six Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars).

Your life story stinks of crime by pursuation.just like Lotto Scam. It would have been better if you had not talked about money. To tell you the truth, I have already encountered simmillar mails with stories moulded as the one you have wrtten, from other criminals posing as girls who looked prettier than you.

I think you should look for some other stupid guy who can fall for your life story.

I would take it as a special favour if you do not write to me again. Please refuse my friend request and ignore my sincere scrap on your zone on fropper.
