calling INDIAN brotherhood
India is a land of various religion, caste, creed & culture. Hence its called as a land of Unity in Diversity. Ever wondered how India acquired various culture & different sects of people. To know this answer travel with me 10,000 years in the past. When people from around the world migrated into India in search of livelihood and made this fabulous country their home.
Hence we have so much differences in our own appearance such as height, colour, speech & dialect. The proof lies in the fact that we have different states and each state is governed by their state governments.
The Mughals came to India to plunder our lands. But ultimately made this country their home. Some rulers destroyed Hindu temples. But it was during the reign of mughal emperor Akbar that he united Hindus & Muslims once again. The mughals knew that the only way to rule India was to be in terms with Hindus. Hence he started building temples & allocated lands to them to build temples. He saw to it that people lived in unity.
Irrespective of the differences there was unity among us before the British came to India. There were no communal riots happening at that time. Wonder why its happening now.
Read further: Well it so happended in 1857 as this is the year of The Great Indian Revolution also called "Sepoy Mutiny" when all Indian stood together to revolt against the British rule in India. It was such a revolt which shocked the very british foundation.
After this revolt the british knew that its not so easy to rule India, but if it had to rule this country the only way was to divide and rule. They made us fight in the name of religion. Indian history was written by the british. Our history books has records of mughal emperors destroying temples but has no records or has just a passing reference to the fact that they wanted peace and worked for unity between hindus & muslims. Because if they did so they would not be able to rule in a united India.
This same policy of the british is followed after our independence too. This job now taken over by the politicians who divide us for vote bank politics.
I have written this blog not to gain popularity or for any vote bank politics as am no politician. Am a citizen of India just like you. My intentions are to unite all Indians and remove differences in our minds (if any) about each other, lets work together for the progress of our country.
