we have all been talking of change but like everyone points out what change? who will change? blah blah blah....

sometimes there is just so much happening in the mind that it becomes difficult to verbalise the same....having read a lots of posts and written one myself i do realise that we are all stuck for words and ideas and that is not a bad thing. it is the first step to change - the fact that people are actually talking of it and trying to think of something. yes to a few these posts are good reading to fall asleep and for some its the same old tripe...but this is where it  will all come from.

i was asked in the course of the day why i am angry with the politicians, i should be angry with the intelligence. one thought sprang to mind - when Rs. 940 crore was given to the police dept over the last 8 years where was the money spent? how many people know that there are more luxury cars than guns in the police dept? what anger at intelligence? who spent this money? the intelligence bureau?

we talk of corrupt cops - what is the pay scale of the average man who is supposed to protect u at the cost of his own life? what are we doing for him? we can't even give him adequate protection so that he can be unafraid and not lie down pretending to be dead! there were 3 cops who did just that before they were saved! they were not cowards, they were prudent! why will he not ask for bribes? he lives in one of the costliest cities of the world, we say we are giving them subsidised rates and concessions! how many of us have visited their dingy homes and seen the way they live? would u live like that? he will be corrupt till he has enough money to look after his family!

change? lets see how many of us will forgo our xmas eve party and xmas party and new years eve party and put that money into the policeman's hand??? how many will stop and find out where ACP Kamte's young son Rahul will be on new years day?

this is an idea - no? save money, collect money, find the widows, find the orphans, help them out. move the powers that be to hike the salaries of the cops and soldiers. is that an idea? can we have a motion on that?
