A tribute to the innocent victims in Mumbai.

A terrible tragedy happened here in Mumbai. No words can describe it.. just feelings and deep emotions. You  just couldn't understand it. or comprehend or grasp its magnitude in any normal circumstance. It was mindless cruelity and total bloody violent disregard for life. It was an attack on our democracy and freedom that we value and cherish. It was a National and personal attack on our way of life.

One week later, we can begin to reflect on the past  with hope for the future.
Our thoughts are with the innocent victims of the terror attacks, people returning home after a hard days work. People using the railway station to get back to their loved ones.
Our prayers are for those who gave up their life defending us,
Our sympathies are with  the tourists from other countries, who are no longer with us.
Our  gratitude is with those whose courage was an inspiration for us.Doctors and nurses and police and army and navy officers, the firefighters and even ordinary citizens who acted with courage in the face of terror.

Watching TV special 24/7 coverage of the terror and reading news on the following spin of events was like watching a bollywood movie .The methods of hatred of bloodthirsty maniacs  and villans sounded painfully familiar, only this time it was really happening.Hundreds were dead, thousands lay bleeding....

"In the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms.
The first is freedom of speech and expression - everywhere in the world.
The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way - everywhere in the world.
The third is freedom from want...
The fourth is freedom from fear.". everywhere in the world.
President Franlin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945)
Address to Congress, Jan. 6, 1941

"Terrorism has no borders, no government, no religion, no language, no state, no capital.
Its foot soldiers operate in the darkness of invisible terror cells all over the world. They are the evil forces that are hard to fight with. They use other nations as a shield for their evil actions.
"They believe that their violence is divinely justified, and that great goals require dramatic means, and the dramatic means is mass bloodshed,"

Terrorism may try to destroy our buldings and try to scare us...
But terrorism will never be able to break our spirit, our traditions and to destroy our land of freedom. Jai Hind.

A painful tribute to those who are no longer with us.May their souls rest in peace.

All my sympathies for the martyers and courages people. these politicians should be given a lesson from the public. If the government doesn't do anything public should share the responsibility and donate from little to more to a ngo foundation for distributing to the families affected.

i think we should learn to respect the martyr's & see that their family r looked after well u see the irony that a sportsman like Bindra the first olympic gold medalist was given crores by the indian govt but our brave soldiers who laid their life protecting its citizens were only given 5 lakhs do u think this way of rewarding our martyr's is justified

You were one of those who had actually felt the disaster. You were one of those who were really entangled in the mist of bullets.

Hats off to your bravely. Brave Mumbaikars.

What a sweet tribute, Di

Lets see how manymore such attacks can we bear with.. Something wrong with an inert tribe called Indians.. They keep on stabbing us and we do nothing but a growl now and a shout then. And everything subsides till something new strikes us somewhere.

Isnt it silly..

sighhhhhhh..... Chjimp is angry..

Hi
It wasa really dreadful to hear about the inhuman attack by terrorists.
Why do they do this? Is it for money?
what do they gain. They should be punished in such a manner that others will learn not to be so cruel.
maybe if someone close to these terrorists [from the family]had to suffer in this way, cold blooded killings, then they will realize that it is so hard and painful wen others suffer.
heartfelt condolences for those who died fighting to save others.

one thing which is more concerning that these killings will never end as our politicians are never serious to deal with. they do not learn lessons from past tragic incidents. they awake for time being after any such incident. then there come some announcements, some political debates and some resignations. and what there after. nothing happens. they again go to their dens and have sound sleep till the next tagic incident happens.
they have no concern in their hearts for the innocent victims who lost their lives.
