CJ'a secrets at random - all 25 of them!!!

CJ’s secrets at random -------- all 25 of them!

A good essay is 10% inspiration, 15% perspiration, and 75% desperation"!!!
ha haaaaaaaaaaaa And that’s what this is folks; this wonderfully creative woman dagny, got that spark of inspiration to write down her 25 + 1 random stuff about her delightful self! And then the entire fropperdom followed suit; my pc almost soaked wet in all that perspiration! Everyone has been honouring everyone’s tag! And that has now left me in desperation – 1. to write; 2. to write interesting stuff; 3. to write original stuff (coz everyone’s said everything there was to be said) 4. to write before this tag game was forgotten 5. AND to write while I’m on a break; holidaying! Oh well! Sistahs are never to be let down; so I might as well do my assignment! Here goes -------------read on!

1. As I said in my ‘woman’s day’ contest post, true to womanhood, I’m an oxymoron! (well, those who don’t like me may read it as and ox AND a moron; lol)! I’m so simple, yet complicated; so matured, yet childlike; so practical, yet emotional!
2. I’m a die hard optimist that when I see a lot of shit , I look around for a horse; for when there’s so much shit, there’s bound to be a horse somewhere!
3. I love jokes, one-liners, funny quips and teasers; even if they are on me! Someone gave me a ‘oh-you-rolly-polly-fatty’ look and said, ‘one must keep in shape’; and I promptly quipped, ‘oh well, course I’m in shape; round IS a shape’!
4. I’m active when I do things I love to do; but psssssst------------I’m a lazy bum when it comes to moving a limb or two! A friend once proudly exclaimed, ‘I was working out 2 hours this morning’; and I shrugged my shoulders as I said, ‘What’s the big deal? I was out working the whole day’!
5. I love to read; what’s new there eh? So does 99.8% of the world! But along with Osho and Brian Weiss, I also read, Enid Blyton, Harry Potter and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Don’t ask how old I’m; I’m some 40 plus young!
6. I sing well! As long as I’m in the bathroom; as long as I’m alone! I’ve found the secret of singing like the Latas and SPBs; I just switch on their songs, and sing along; no one knows the difference then! I’m the lark, the nightingale and the cuckoo, all rolled into one then!
7. I love to chat with friends, over phone, on YM, in person, doesn’t matter! I do ‘ungodly hours’ that I’m known as Dracula!
8. I can sit up till the wee hours of the morning; but I’m a so non-morning character; I just love to sleep in late!
9. I wear reading glasses; can’t say I’m blind as a bat without them; but the angle at which I hold the printed matter, doesn’t need a Sherlock Holmes to infer that I’m hypermetropic! (long sight, you sillies!)
10. One thing I hate most is to be termed as ‘most women’! Though I’m not averse to shopping malls and beauty parlours! That really doesn’t make me ‘most’, does it? I don’t gossip, don’t backbite, don’t bitch and don’t talk to curious neighbours across the gatepost! Give me a break guys!
11. I love shopping, and my yardstick for buying a thing off the stand is simple; the object, be it an outfit, a piece of accessory or a pair of footwear, should talk to me; it should cajole me, ‘come on chithra, take me home with you’!
12. At times I love shopping for others; I shop till I drop, getting things for the ones I love and get back without a single item for me!
13. I never go by the clock, unless it’s my work schedule; (especially now that jobs are at stake!) I eat when I’m hungry, sleep when my eyes droop and do things as and when my whims fancy!
14. I’m a very balanced individual! Apart from balancing my weight on both anatomical sides, I do a perfect balancing act between being ‘fun loving’ and ‘a matured adult’!
15. Love people for what they are; get along with most of them, except the really shallow specimens; and those without the label, ‘genuine’; that’s like an ISI!
16. I believe that ‘self-respect’ and ‘pride’ are two different terms. In love, there is absolutely no pride; I don’t mind saying ‘I’m sorry’ and give in, if only it would bring back lost love and friendship.
17. I’m a sucker for endearments; I just melt at the ‘honeys, sweethearts and sweetie pies’! Oh my! Did I really say that! Well, flattery doesn’t get you anywhere with me guys! ha haaaaaaaaaa
18. I’m very expressive, verbally and physically; I’m a great believer of the ‘hug’! Love to hug and be hugged; and saying ‘I love you’ to friends and family is a syndrome with me! But it’s a condition, not a disease! So perhaps, you could live with it!
19. I live in the present moment; no yesterdays, no tomorrows for me!
20. I love to play indoor games with kids in the family; carom is my most favourite.
21. I have no hang ups about age; it’s only a number; if the frequency vibes, 20 plus or 60 plus doesn’t matter!
22. I love my friends. My mom is my best friend ever!
23. I’m a ‘ditto’ of my dad; looks, mannerisms, traits, tastes, temperatment; I’m a father’s daughter all the way!
24. At the risk of sounding repetitive, I should say that I love the English language and the pun and play with words. I think that the best form of creative writing are some of one-liners on T shirts!
25. I don’t have a book of rules; so I shouldn’t be stopping at 25! But I do have a set of values; and it says that sistahs should be obeyed to the ‘T’! So, 25 it is, not a word more!

I know you now.

You will throw your weight around.

No hang ups about age for a 40 plus.

Next singer on the arena, Chitra the second.

Lazy, unlike ‘most women’.

Good going, Chitra.

Chitra...how can I ever resist the temptation of just hugging you & saying
You are an inspiration when it comes to your ingenious style of writing......
The words flow with your random process of thoughts getting cognized....into words.Words that flow with feelings and meaningful interpretation. There's so much to learn from you.
