 My SUPER STARsss,,,, I.

I’m fearless about NUMBER of COMMENTS but very much hopeful that PEOPLE will READ, at least.

Every person has at lest a HERO in life. And the HERO or Role Model always inspires or motivates to act better. Who should be the IDEAL in LIFE, I think it depends on mentality, attitude, liking and life style. A simple funda is working behind, like good person’s role model is always SUPERMAN and bad has BADMAN.

Few gentlemen and woman has inspired me lot in life and I used to call them, ‘Super Stars of my life’. I’ve a small list of role models PHANTAOM, Mohandas Karmanchand Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Sunil Manohar Gavaskar and Amitabh Bachhan.

PHANTOM was my childhood hero, he was a comic character. You people would not believe, I was his fan even when I was in high school. The comic was named as ‘Indragal Comics’, the Indian version. Indian name of Phantom was ‘Betal’. I can still remember the other characters Guran, Rex and Diana. What was actually attracting me to him was his act. He was illustrated as Robinhood and was protecting tribal people from outer world. He was a ‘fighter’ and a ‘brave man’.

Mahatma Gandhi is my all time favourite. His contribution to the nation’s freedom struggle is countless and doesn’t need any description. What always attracts and motivates me, are few of his characteristics, which I found exception, form my angle of thinking.

He was a young barrister when landing to South Africa, and his motto behind the journey was never to plea against ‘Racism’, but was to start practice as a Lawyer. Accidentally he found a situation and without any hesitation he started a ‘movement’ there, was fearless about his ‘career’. And I think was not an easy decision he has had taken specially when was new to the country and was fight against the government. He has not any base over there and was having only identity was his ‘name’. Since there, then Indian’s social status was also not good.

Another I want to count, he always set ‘an example first’ and then asked others to follow. I don’t think he has had asked anybody to do what he was never suppose to do. Like he advocated for SWADESHI and he was the first threw VIDESHI outfits and maintained it till his last breath. His thoughts were innovative and extraordinary like ‘non-cooperation’, ‘total strike’, ‘hunger strike’ and ‘Dandi march’. If I’m not wrong other than him all ‘enjoyed status’ after independence. We gained independence but he lost his LIFE. Scarifies in true sense,,, unmatched.

I always admire Mrs. Indira Gandhi as the strongest leader and prime minister, country has ever produced. She was unique of her kind. She was great visionary. ‘Nationalization of banking’, ‘1971 war’, ‘Shimla agreement’, ‘promotion to industrialization’ are milestones. In the backdrop of East Pakistan the war of 1971 shows that how farsighted she was, victory has pulled the problems from roots from the east side of India, otherwise today it would have the ‘threat from both East and West Pakistan’.

Cont,,,,,,,,

N.B. In part 2 I’ll try to pick my findings about two 'leaving legends', Mr. Gavaskar and Big B.
