Gods must be Crazy !!!!
It all started in the year 1985, with first of the trilogy – ‘Back to the future’…. I still remember the flow of acute energy in my nerves, after watching the movie at Blue Diamond – Bangalore!!
In the initial half of 1992, I learnt that Michel J Fox had developed Parkinson’s… At the tender age of 30!!!
A relationship slowly blossomed through correspondence till: - Year 1997 – Date 09th June: Under circumstances unfathomable, I was a part of Michel’s birthday….
It was a night that changed my percepts on cosmic laws!!!!
DATE, which most of you are familiar, was the results of umpteen experiments based on certain theories that Michel & self had discussed on that very long & fateful night...!!! Having realized that certain cosmic laws are beyond to grasp of human digest, I had put DATE ‘under house arrest’ …. (Much secured than what Pakistanis did with that LeT joker)……
It was 09th June 2009, Michel’s 48th birthday: I, in retrospection – unpacked DATE after a long, long time (It had to come out I guess, owing to the laws of ESP)….. The initial results & introduction to DATE… I have shared with you all… as a part of my entry into a contest from Saz & CJ!!!!
The love, appreciation & encouragement that I received from my friends on Fropper, prompted me to use it again, though… with a wee bit of guilt & a twinge of fear, since this time around; I was taking ‘supernatural help for humane gratification’…..
The initial experiment with DATE was easy since the results were more ‘Inwards’ in nature…. Time & Space needs to be explored & hence we needed more of an ‘Outward approach’… (i.e.) you need a ‘Space Suit’ of sorts…. A banana shaped ‘Latex’ balloon was procured more as an idea than for protection, since it has the ability to stop even ‘God’s creations from becoming’… Well you know what I mean!!! The rituals done, I took off not knowing what was in store…. A few moments, I had a black out!!!
I was awakened by a shake & as my focus returned, I was greeted by the sight of Blue Mountains, colorless sky, pink water & yellow vegetation… Where was I & what had happened!!!....
“Narayana Narayana”… I turned around saw a very humane figure clad in a black suit & tie (just like the MIB’s) holding an ‘electrical guitar’!! “Welcome to ‘Indraloka’…. I am ‘Narada’…”
Though shocked at what I was seeing compared to all that the mythologies had thought – I was very happy, I had met my favorite personalities from the ‘Myth’… After offering my salute, I bowed to him in reverence
“Son I know the purpose of your visit. However, the time has not come for the earthlings to know the concept of ‘Universal functioning’ & ‘Secrets of creation’… Follow me; we need to reach the ‘Gate of Pearl’ from where you can return back…”
I was devastated, disappointed… All the anticipation had evaporated into thin air... But then I had no choice other than following the Sire!!! I tugged along….
As we were passing a ‘dune of diamonds’ amidst a ‘Rohafsa’ filled pond with yellow lotus, I saw a very ugly looking person performing the most difficult of ‘asanas’… Before I could ask, Naradji said casually….
“That’s Kautailya – Chanakya…. In the last ‘Dik sabha’ or annual meeting, it was decided that for planet Xhpho – 12, there will be a change of role between Vatsayana & Chanakya… So he is busy practicing ‘the art of’…. You know what…”
I couldn’t hold back ‘isn’t it a sort of discrimination, I mean for this new planet, you are assigning the tough task of teaching one of the most ‘cherished lessons’ to a person whose body does not support the role. Is it punishment for some past karmas… or is it racism, which I thought only exists on earth’
‘It’s neither of these…. There is no concept of racism, discrimination here on Indraloka or bondage of karmas... As for Earth, it is the result of your own misgiving… For reasons known only to your minds, you first create the concept of boundaries, class, creed, color, nationalities etc… Then to justify these, you ‘assign’ tags such as minorities, reservation etc… Then create governing bodies such as ‘human right activist’ to manage the affairs… What you earthlings don’t realize is that the moment you term a certain segment as ‘minorities’ in which ever clime… You have already started a ‘superior / inferior’ conflict… Son, when we created earth, these were not our idea of existence!!’
So this is what it means ‘hearing it from the horse’s mouth’… It was the ‘guru’ talking & I started liking all this ‘gyan’… Just for the sake of it, I asked…
‘But why should he practice, you are all divine & can achieve what ever you need since you say its neither karma nor punishment’.
‘Remember, there is no replacement for hard work. Practice is the only thing that makes both man & divine perfect!!’
Some time past, me contemplating what I was seeing & hearing…. Suddenly, I think I heard ‘Jai ho!! Jai hoo’…. Yes that’s what I heard…. With A R Rahman’s score blasting away to glory…. Even as Naradji tried stopping me, I was pulled towards the music like a magnet… For once, the ‘Guru’ seems to be following… Yet, I thought… I saw a wicked smile on his face…
I was taken aback... with disgust & shock for I saw Lord Indra himself, with Ramba, Maneka, Urvashi, Trilothama… in their ‘birth suits’… swaying & swinging to the beats of Shivamani…
“Hey Prabhu… now what is this, you preach & advocate such high morals for us earthlings & you live by a different yard of stick…”
“Hahaha… Son what you are seeing is nature… in its true form… It’s only the ‘moh’ & ‘Maya’ that has made your mind sick, which makes you feel it is wrong…”
“This is a bit too much… Are you telling me sir that what I see is very natural…”
“Now listen carefully son… If you remember your history correct, the first couple created by Brahma was send to earth in this ‘natural form’… It was your attempt of going against the wishes of God almighty, that sense was displaced by desires!! Every day in you country, you see many children’s in this form & you feel pathetic at the sorry state of affairs… When you see a youth, young or old in a similar state, your mind paves way to different set of emotions… In reality, the object of your vision is the same thing!!”
“But I have always thought its Darwin’s theory of evolution…”
“That is also correct in a way… In the mid ages when all the wrongs were done by humans in the name of God & human kind started losing faith in the institution of divine… It was Maha Vishnu’s decision to create a new creed of humans to rationalize the ‘laws of nature’… and see creation in a whole new percept. This was necessary for human kind to evolve better!! That was the only way we could save our skins. Subsequent conflicts between the believers & the Anti, kept us alive in your thoughts & thus we still hold place in some hearts till date!!”
I was now thinking aloud!!! - “Hmm… For writing this, my blog can get flagged by the set of ‘Intellectuals’ at the site… What will happen if they come to know of a divine abode with such ideas, will they try and flag it too… for review….God knows!! In a way I could now relate to how Amit & many others would have felt for getting flagged as ‘Inappropriate & Offensive’!!!”…. for expressing their inner self, which more often than not is a page from God’s fundas!!!
We had almost reached the ‘Gate of Pearl’… Some how, I was wishing I could stay back for some more time… After all, this was an experience of a lifetime!!!
As if reading my thoughts, Naradji said “You are set to go back… and I allow asking me one final question…”
I derived courage for I was about to ask him a very controversial question, an answer, I was scared will also shake my roots!! – “Pious one, this has been a big learning experience for me… Listening to your answers has been extremely enlightening… I just want to know your take on Homosexuality & Gay rights…”
Naradji smiling asked me “What is your opinion”…
I said “Frankly it is a mixture of thoughts… Some parts of my thought say it is a matter of human rights: A matter of personal preference & orientation; its ok …. But most parts say it is wrong, since, it is against the law of nature & tends to give more prominence to human sensual gratification”
Smiling - “Your perception is based on what you feel is correct or what you think is natural… However, when you look into the divine scheme of things, every one & everything has a place & from time to time, these percepts keep varying to accommodate the will of the ever benevolent... Since I gave you the option to ask this question; Son… I will share the real reason with you…. For centuries now man does not heed to the call of nature & keeps doing things that can affect the very existence of your planet… Over population is an issue, which most of you acknowledge, yet there is not much that you do to control… Man is the most sought after & cherished one among all creations of God… Hence it was Lord Brahma’s grant idea to start a set of ‘genetically’ engineered breed, whose orientation & preferences will help birth control!!!
I was short of words for the effect those words had on me & all I could numbly mumble – “What an Idea Sirji”!!!
All set to leave, I paid my homage to the ‘stalwart of true wisdom’ & before I left couldn’t help but think as I always do - “God’s must be really Crazy”….. However, this time I could see a ‘method in all that craziness!!’
Oh my God, I had not discounted for the ‘Time lag’ factor!!! I reached & found that the few hours there had cost me 15 years on Earth… Every thing was changed, where Jefferies Tube was… where DATE was… No idea!! What had happened to my physical body…. Absolutely no Idea!!!!!!
Having no idea how to go about, I thought I will check out my friends from Fropper, how they were faring in life!!! What I saw made me immensely happy!!!
UDHAS – Prakash had become very successful with his knowledge about shares… With a flourishing business had also taken up consultancy work for SEBI!!
SUBBUSUMAN – It’s always true that good things happen to good people. So it was with Sanjay… Subbu, his everything had become a prodigy at a very young age. Guddan had also settled well in life…. Sanjay the proud father was busy handling Subbu’s affairs as humbly as he always is!!!
CHINCHPOKLITOCHINA – Sunidhi had become a bigger Icon than Rowlings after she decided to publish her series of ‘Anmol Vachans’ & ‘Pagalpanthis’… She was busy with the publication of her volume 10th!!!
TANU1952 – Government of India had at last recognized Tanu Shree’s contribution to Social service & humanitarian services… She had assumed a position of responsibility in the ministry of HRD & continuing her humanitarian approach!!!
SAZZYME – Her ability to get people together had paid off!! She had started her own web site, a very popular one at that… And continues the noble deed that we all know her for….. Thanks god she has stopped that ‘breaking spree’ of hers as age has progressed!!!
KING-BULLS-RING – One fine day, the King found a ‘Nadi’…. ESP took over from then on…. Has started an academy which deals with ‘out of the world stuff’… Successfully using this form to understand the various psyches of human nature!!!
SHERAJU – Rajan’s hard work in the field of ‘online social service’ had become a big success. He has joined hands with Sunidhi & busy with his set of publications!!!
GUTZ24 – This music fanatic is a huge success in the field of councelling for her uncanny ability to balance things… Further more, Renoo has also started an academy for helping aspirant singers & musicians to make it big… Only condition, it has to be those old songs to start with!!!
PAINTEROFBEAUTY – Amit the ‘Babu Mushai’ made all the ‘green papers’ he needed & took an early retirement… He now lives in his own Island resort, with a huge life style mirror…. Admiring his ‘Linen clad body’ (thank god) & creating those master pieces… But I was more touched to see that 25 years single malt was still unopened … Now 40 years ‘double malt’…. Thanks friend!!!
Hey guys…. I was still with no body of mine….I did get it back…. Ooh that’s a story for some other day!!!!!
