THOUGH SUPREME COURT JUDGES TAKE WELL CONSIDERED DECISONS

I was sitting in a bar at a pub, having my favourite single malt. The DJ sensed the light atmosphere and changed the track to a slow Kenny G album. The combined tobacco and spirit odour made me further woozy as I noticed the bar stool next to me being occupied. I wouldn't have normally turned my head but the fragrance of her perfume almost instantaneously made me look at her. She was dark, had long hair ; knee length and very sharp nose- good nose always attracts me. Further scrutiny only made the adrenalin gush further. She was slim, had long legs and wore a black knee length dress. I smiled at her to which she acknowledged with a wink or so I thought she winked !! We exchanged pleasantries and were soon conversing or rather , as someone might say, flirting with words. To add to her charm, she had a husky voice. The DJ changed gears and the pub rocked with Akon's, "Right now na na na". I asked her for a dance which she politely refused, saying she found the music loud and would rather go for a drive.

The love making was sensuous , very enchanting. Further details, I may rather avoid, being on a social site. I dont know when I dozed off but in the morning when I woke up, she was gone. I got ready, a little disappointed for not having taken down her number. As I was about to leave, my attention was drawn to the yellow stick on at the door which read, MEET ME FOR LUNCH AT THE TAJ COFFEE SHOP"

At lunch, she demanded her ransom. 25 lakh rupees. I was shocked. How could an educated and polished lady do this. ?? Quickly thought over. Would my wife accept my one night stand? After all, I had been faithful to her all these years. Yes she would. So I relaxed and pounced back on her. "GO AHEAD. I DONT CARE. GO TELL MY WIFE". She replied, I AINT GOING TO YOUR WIFE. I AM GOING TO THE POLICE AND CHARGING YOU FOR RAPE".

The apex court said that in rape cases the sole testimony of the witness without any corroboration can be relied on as rarely would a self-respecting Indian woman accuse a man of raping her.
