More Sex Please! We Are Indians!!

More Sex Please! We Are Indians!!
It sounds funny, but it is true. See the advertisements every where. From a tractor to underwear a sexy woman must be there to promote the sale of goods. Because the sex sales.
When I say Indians it includes both men and women are equally starved of sex in India. As men are crazy about women, women are equally crazy about men. No doubt that it is but natural, but the taboo created in our society about sex is responsible for this.
Since years we have been taught that the sex is bad, it is something forbidden, it is not a topic of open discussion. It has been always confined in the four walls of a bedroom.
The psychologist world over have telling us that if anything is suppressed prohibited then the man is more prone to attract towards such things. He tries to use all tactics and methods to see, to take the experience of the prohibited things. That is exactly what is happening in India.
Take the example of the recent controversy of sex education given in schools of Maharashtra. With good intention of enlighten the students about AIDS and HIV the progressive Maharashtra govt. took the decision to impart sex education in schools. (I have written a separate article on this) But the so called protectors of Indian culture took objection to it. Surprisingly 80% students and parents want that the sex education be given in the schools. The protectors of Indian culture forget that the Kamsutra and Kokshastra were written in India. They also forget that the world famous sculptures of sexual postures are in temples of Khajuraho and other temples/caves in India.
However, now the scenario is changing quite rapidly. Thanks to the Internet and other media. Now the sex education, adult entertainments are easily available to young generations. Not only men, now women and girls also openly indulging in sex talk which was forbidden in the recent past.
Here I would like to quote one example. In the Scandinavian and other western countries the pornography is legal. There are separate theaters to screen such movies. There are magazines like Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler. (Which are banned in India) Even there are TV Channels devoted to such stuff. And surprisingly the rate of rapes and abuse of women are much lower than India. What does it mean? If you suppress the human instinct, emotion they will bounce back.
Therefore, noted film director and ex-president of Censor Board in India Mr. Vijay Anand had proposed that special movie theaters for pornographic films in India. But the then BJP govt. not allowed such thing in India. The logic behind Mr. Vijay Anand%u2019s proposal was that let the people decide what they want to see and what not.
Anyway the Internet revolution has opened the gateway for the sex starved Indians. There are plenty such websites, blogs, groups, movies, CDs and DVDs of pornographic contents now available to them.
Recently our Honorable Cabinet Minister Mr. Priya Ranjan Das Munshi had decided to ban the FTV on cable TV. The fun of it was on one news channel the news was announced and on the same TV set the FTV channel was running simultaneously. It is still being showed. It is totally ridiculous.
Is our Indian Culture is so weak that after seeing a few bikini clad models it will collapse? Mr. Das Munshi you are trying to hide the rising Sun with your jacket!
Please note that we are Indians and we need more sex!!
