Shopping...

lakshmi pooja day shoppee experience

spent lotsa time over three hours
looking at things not required.
at the market place today.

had a look at books first. was
looking for to kill a mocking bird
by harper lee and famous five
series books by enid blyton. the
former was not available.

my friend liked one which later i
downloaded in pdf form from the net.
the secret by rhonda byrne, lol.

then looked at mobile handsets. at
a gallery. you never know when a
handset may drop and konk out. so
try to keep abreast. saw nice ones
with disconuts oops discounts mebbe
that be. in an ad it says disconuts
here, for a certain product.

offers valid till oct 31, ample time
yet. in the gallery there was one
irate customer shouting, threatening
like a mad man to take some mutter
or matter to the md of the company.

the poor man did not even know his
own number. later turned out the cell
was supposedly in his wifeys name.
sometimes customers can be impossibly
kingy klingy.

also went to a sports shop. plenty
things there. clothes, rackets,
bats and balls etc.

asked them to show me barbells.
had a good look at a couple.
tested them. rather they tested
me. chose a five feet one. measured
it against me, it was shorter, yet,
found that no plates would be needed.
it was too heavy for me, my arms
sore already, lol.

so be it, ample times froppe makes
one sore, hahaha.

beat it from the shopee, stumbled,
my legs got in the way of a tennis
racket being strung, string being
all over. so careless of the shopee.

all awhile was talking on my cell.
also saw signal strength was zero.
deep inside the shopee. and call
had dropped.

good to be out and with signal
strength back. tried to reconnect.

thinking now of doing yoga at
home. asanas like which mebbe easy
and butter oops better. like one
sarvangasana which is done sleeping
vertically, against a wall.

slowly graduate to suraiya
namaskar. she was a great singer.
surya namaskar exercises the whole
body.

then to ram deo baba pranaams,
prana yamaas, life and death breath
taking techies.

thus went my shopping today. bought
a box of blank cds for backing up
some of my audio-video collection.

well, that was it.

A typical guy shopping! Starting from what appeals and ending up buying what is needed and yet what does not pinch too much! Man - oh - man, we need to learn this art of buying stuff that are not needed and yet proclaim to the whole world that we saved money by doing it....from the fairer sex!

That was a very fun blog. I do not know any of the books except "To Kill a Mockingbird." which I haven't read. I read only paragraphs, and then I am sleeping soundly.. when awake and free it is right to Fropper with me!! And all that exercising. I am being remindedof exercise here there and everywhere. If only I would listen. Same with the health care books that I read paragraph by paragraph in my bed each night. Nice to hear from you blog style! Peace!!
