SHE WHO WILL NEVER FADE OFF

Posted on: Aug 06, '07

 BUTTERFLY

I don't know how
a butterfly lay dead in my yard
Splendid were its wings.

But little did the ants know of beauty
They were in their hundreds
eagerly busy in a beeline
collecting food.

Ah, I thought, there's no museum here
where the butterfly could hve been displayed
pleasing the eye of viewers all

And,that's  how countless butterflies
perish
providing food for ants.

Its you who wouldn't have cared if it were an ugly insect instead of a butterfly, as we see the world only seez the things which are beautiful and ignores the non-eye-candy, the poem certainly states the thinking process of uz humanz who have developed a thory that beauty is skindeep, but don't really belive in it.

hi kitty...a sad one, but nice one...a beautiful butterfly has to end feeding the starving ants, but surely the butterfly was so beautiful by its value in feeding the ants...
