Colours of red, orange and brown appear among leaves so green
hours of longer sunlight are disappearing from the scene
The breezes are still mild but now and then a pinch of cold
No longer does that harvest moon seem so giant and bold
As it was this past August that was only a week away
September breezes signal a change for the day
Autumn only a fortnight
as summer drifts away.
