 Johnny freaking Gaddar!!!

Movie name: Johnny Gaddar

Genre: Thriller & Crime

Actor/ Actresses: Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rimi Sen, Dharmendra, Vinay Pathak

Review:

When I saw Ek Haseena Thi for the first time, I liked the movie. It did have lots of the Bollywood cliches in it though, but still it was better than say a Baghbaan or something.

The promos for Johnny Gaddar fascinated me. The music (Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy) seemed brilliant and slickly edited fast pace of the adverts attracted my attention. The promos also mentioned one more fact: From the director of Ek Haseena Thi.

I knew then that I would see this movie. I saw it last evening. And it was an evening well-spent.

The movie is a homage to the thriller genre without being a spoof or a lame imitation of any of the succesful films of this genre.

The plot is slick. Cinematography is excellent. Soundtrack very good. Acting is top notch, especially the new comer, Neil Nitin Mukesh. The best part of the movie other than all of these is Dharmendra's seemless command of the English language. You only have to experience his dialogues in a cinema hall to realize how this man can make cheesy beautifully hilarious. "You saan of a beej" "Saan, you are going dawn a darkh path" etc.

This is a brilliant take on double cross and a movie well-made. Don't miss this one.

PS: And DON"T dare miss the scene where Dharmendra dies. It's unmissable!!!

Dharmendar, on being asked if age acts a deterrent to his running the gang: "It's not the age, it's the mileage!"

Hey i watched the film too its was really funny at times.. cause things that u really didnt expect.. like that huge guy banging his head against the sink... and dying normal movies.. it was be just fine and the guy would get up... this movie was close.. to reality.. how greed can get u etc.
and yes dharmendra dying was awesome lol ... it reminded me of the film anand... where Rajesh khanna waits.. for amitabh to return for hours and finally 1 min after he dies amitabh appears..

THe hero being new did quite a good job outta his role.. i wish him luck and hope to see him around in good films like jonny g.

Guy dont miss this one....... please...
