 NYW... (Tagged by CJ)

New Year Wishes.

Now, CJ has tagged me to spill out (or to dig out…?) some resolutions for this new year.  CLICK here to see the origin...

Well, as everybody does, I too forgot what were my last year’s re-solutions and those of the year before. So, I tried to find some re-solutions. And the resolutions are coming out here as wishes:

1. Wish the two wheeler riders look to the sides and use their rear-view mirrors while driving. I get the feeling that the 2 wheelers are the Oscar and Angie of the Shark-Tale, swimming their way through the sea of vehicles, regardless of what’s moving and what’s not. (Its 3 months and 3 deep scratches on my beauty-Cedia, courtesy - two wheelers of Chennai...!)

2. Wish SRK acts in some decent movie like Chak De, suitable to his age and stature. I wish he acted in a remake of “Rain Man”. This adorable talented actor is being wasted by our film industry in churning out mid-day-show-flicks like OM-S-OM.

3. Wish SBKBT and KGGK continues with the pothaas and par-pothaas and par-par-par-pothaas, successfully on Star Plus to keep the admirers of Parvati and Tulsi happy. (Even If I wish these serials / soaps to end, Ekhta Kapoor and her family are not having the remotest thought of such a thin, so why waste one of my wish…???)

4. Wish to see at least one Ad for the Mitsubishi Cedia on TV. (On my knees.. God.. Please heed to at least this one.. Pleeeezzz…) Hindustan Motors is made of clay and wouldn’t move at all, while the entire world is swirling with the media-magic.

5. Wish to meet at least a few of the wonderful people I know through Fropper this year. This is a sincere wish and I will put my best efforts to realize it.

6. And finally wish to keep in touch with all my wonderful friends I found here on Fropper, this year too. This one is much tougher than I imagined, as in this jet age, friends come and friends go like the train-journey friendships. It is just too difficult to keep in touch with all the friends for longer time. Out of site = Out of mind. I have experienced this first hand. So many wonderful people I came across, still on my friend’s list, but not contacted for long time, of course for various known and unknown reasons and many just without any reasons. Blogging is the best thing I have seen here to keep the people in close contact and “tagging” is the next best. “Saludos to the Originator”.

When people become friends, they do so in all fervour, but life's rigamaroles make em all drift away.

I wished to post a 'knotty' comment; but there I go all mushy reading your 5th and 6th wishes! I've always been a 'hopeless' romantic when it got to friends and friendship; so I agree with you, all the way!

You car maniac; keep the Almighty out of it, will ya?

And about the 2 wheeler Vs 4 wheeler, we'll have a private chat buddy! LOL

Good read; tks for playing pal

Keep up the good spirits
